No meta moment.

* A meta example is found in the relationship between the development team and the player community. While often exaggerated, there is a reason for the common stereotypes that gaming companies are tone-deaf to the expectations of the playerbase, while said playerbase is frequently derided as unpleasable. Not so with Warhammer. With a few exceptions, the playerbase is almost universally approving of the game and how it has been handled. And the developers have responded by striving to make a fun game in as many facets as possible, and showing their willingness to listen to criticism and make adjustments based on that criticism, such as in reworking the various Game 1 factions to be just as enjoyable as those in Game 2.
** The above has probably best been illustrated by the events of 2021. The year started off with updates to mechanics introduced by the previous DLC brought on by player feedback. March saw the introduction of the Rakarth FLC, a fun unique lord and campaign completely free for the players. And then the final major update saw several major quality of life changes; first the Beastmen received their long-awaited update that has received enormous praise from turning a mediocre and boring faction into one that is fun and interesting. Then in a surprising move, a smaller rework was added to the Dwarfs when normally such reworks are only one per DLC. Finally, a number of minor additions were done to several Game 1 Legendary Lords to put them in the same league as their Game 2 counterparts.
