He is the most timid and cautious of the three, frequently complaining about how much danger they're in / how much danger Jupe wants to put him in during assignments, causing the most friction in the group. But despite all his complaining, he will still do what is asked of him because he is just so dang [[UndyingLoyalty loyal]]. In fact, in the face of real danger, contrary to what he says, Pete is usually in the front facing the danger head-on and will do his best to protect his friends. While the Investigators always rescue another, Pete has racked up the most points on death-defying saves. His loyalty is so prominent that if forced to pick between Pete and Bob, Jupiter would choose Pete as his BestFriend on account of how many times Pete has saved him.

* The moment Pete gets injured, Jolene begins to drop the act realizing that the film experiment was not worth Pete's suffering and potentially his life. She immediately starts insisting that he needed a doctor right away and was the first to suggest that they just cancel the whole production.
** Jupiter also shows deep concern for his friend and becomes desperate to find a way to escape to get Pete some help. It goes to show how much Jupiter really cares for one of his best buddies.
