** Don't forget Ren. His grief at losing Stimpy and his joy at having him back are downright beautiful, especially considering it's Ren we're talking about.
*** The scene of a completely deflated Stimpy, who Ren vigorously tries to cheer up with his favorite programs (all of which he has shown nothing but contempt for beforehand). He that desperately wants Stimpy to be happy again.

* I forgot the name, but in the episode where Ren and Stimpy are marooned and Ren first runs into the whale's corpse, his reaction is to jump into Stimpy's arms and hold him while squeaking in an adorably pathetic and panicked manner. ** It's "Aloha Hoek" I believe

* "I Was A Teenage Stimpy" has Ren looking at old home movies of Stimpy as a child, with fond nostalgia. One of the few times in the Games Animation era Ren clearly cared about Stimpy.

* In the episode, "My Shiny Friend," Stimpy continuously watches TV, to Ren's irritation. Now, throughout most of the episode, Ren seems to try to stop Stimpy from watching TV for, give or take, selfish reasons (such as getting irritated when he and the firemen eat Ren's dinner, or just getting annoyed at the phrase, "What are ya?!"). But when Stimpy overdoses on TV, Ren holds him, and weeps rather sadly, and says something surprisingly rare for a Games episode.

** Even Ren has his moments. The sponge bath sequence is not only oozing with HoYay, but Ren sweetly acknowledges how good Stimpy is to him. In a later scene, he says a couple of these gems:

The original show may have been filled with NauseaFuel, NightmareFuel, and over the top insanity with its humour. But it wasn't without it's heartwarming moments. [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachother Especially between our two leads!]]

** Even better there's a meta example for this. The next week, Nickelodeon got a truckload of letters from children telling Ren they loved him too. Aww...

** The final shot of the three of them together as a family is sweet. When it fades out, a silver heart appears with "The I Love Stimpy Show" written on it.

** There's plenty of {{Squick}} in regards to their baby, considering what it's made of, and understandably so. However, the immense joy Ren and Stimpy share as they relish their newborn can be considered sweet.

** When Mr. Horse discovers the actual problem, he hesitates telling them that Stimpy isn't actually pregnant. The camera then pans over to Ren and Stimpy, who are actually having a genuinely loving moment. Ren is sweetly assuring him that everything is going to be okay while petting him and kissing his nose. It's quite possibly the most sweet he's ''ever'' been in the Adult Party Cartoon.
** Throughout the episode, Ren's {{Jerkass}} meter was pretty much UpToEleven. However, it's during the hospital scene that he's actually supportive and worried for Stimpy, right down to holding his hand while Stimpy pushes.

* "Firedogs 2" has the Fire Chief (played by and designed after Ralph Bakshi) taking Ren and Stimpy under his wing. Despite his absolute horrid behaviour all throughout, the boys do try their hardest to put up with it. They may be it in for a certain gain, but the effort they put in to accommodate the Fire Chief is pretty sweet.

** In that same scene, Ren tells Stimpy to give her his (Stimpy's) bra. Stimpy balks at the idea, but not out of any sort of greed. But because the bra is special to him since Ren gave it to him on their [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther anniversary.]] However, Stimpy relents and gives it to her.

** While they're getting ready for bed, Stimpy asks Ren if they could... But stops midway, thinking he's too tired (like he was earlier in the episode). Ren, however, has other plans. He calls Stimpy, then is revealed to be decked out in a baseball uniform while gazing at him seductively. All before asking, "Are you ready for a speedball, my little blumpkin pumpkin?" Despite the wording, his tone and smile indicates it's meant to be affectionate.

It's a rather nice moment in an otherwise demented episode.

** Their parting is very heartbreaking, accompanied with sorrowful music. But Stimpy has a moment of IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy and lets Ren go. He even gives Ren a muscle shirt he'd knitted for him. Ren puts it on and was quite moved. They touch hands for a brief moment, before Stimpy tries to make their parting less hard on both of them.

** The title card is surprisingly cute in its own way.

* "Firedogs 2" has the Fire Chief (played by and designed after Ralph Bakshi) taking Ren and Stimpy under his wing. ** Another issue features Stimpy dressed as Elvis Presley, trash-talking Ren on television. Ren does the same thing, to which the two insult each other back and forth. They then burst into tears, Ren exclaims how much he misses Stimpy, and then they run into each other's arms.
