* The ending where Thomas [=O'Malley=] becomes a father with Duchess and the kittens.
* Thomas [=O'Malley=], the alley cats, Roquefort and Frou-Frou teaming up to rescue the cats. Special mention goes to the scene where Thomas and the alley cats start attacking Edgar while Roquefort is trying to rescue the cats from a locked chest.

* O'Malley's selflessness. He clearly has the hots for Duchess (along with vice-versa) when they first meet, and when the kittens come out while they're flirting, he's understandably surprised, yet remains kind to them all. [[SingleParentsAreUndesirable Many guys dating single moms usually beat it as soon as they find out about her children]] because they don't think of kids very highly or aren't ready to take on such a responsibility. And while O'Malley almost walks off, he quickly [[HeelRealization calls himself out]] and [[ConscienceMakesYouGoBack fulfills his promise to help them get home]]. He wins Duchess' heart ''and'' takes on the role of a surrogate father incredibly well to her kittens, who are very willing to have him as one. He's truly a street cat with a heart of gold.
** O'Malley initially sees Duchess and her kittens off when he ushers them onto a milk truck. But after helping Marie get back on, he doesn't hesitate to stay with them until they get back to Paris. Then later after Marie falls into a river, O'Malley--who has little if any swimming experience--doesn't even think twice before pouncing into the water to save her from drowning. He's only known them since that morning, and he's willing to give up his life for them (of course, [[CatsHaveNineLives he has a few to spare]]).

** The kittens immediately take to Thomas and are total [[ShipperOnDeck Shippers On Deck]] for him and their mother. As noted above, lots of guys will bolt after learning a woman they have an interest in has kids; well the reverse is true where kids will have a problem the [[ParentWithNewParamour parents starting a new relationship with someone new.]] It helps that Toulouse is a red cat just like O'Malley whom the latter affectionately likes to call "tiger" for his "alley cat hiss" he makes. Its little wonder the geese sisters they meet initially mistake Thomas and Duchess for a married couple.

** Madame cuddling with Marie and Duchess on the carriage ride at the beginning, and laughing at Toulouse's antics with Edgar. She comes across like an affectionate grandmother.
