* "Mystic Meadows"

** Earlier when [[ChildrenRaiseYou Sofia helps a depressed Cedric off the couch and to his feet]]. Cedric's mother notes: "She's the nicest friend you've ever had, Ceddy-kins. Come to think of it, she might be the ''[[FriendlessBackground only]]'' friend you've ever had."

** When Sofia and Calista learn why Cedric's magic spell ruined Cordelia's hair, Calista tries to save her young mother from being affected by the tainted serum. [LUnfortunately, since the Looking Back Glass can only show events as they had already happened, young Cordelia is unable to hear her future daughter, making the rescue unsuccessful.

* Cedric finally proving himself a capable sorcerer, thereby earning his perfectionist father's respect, in "Mystic Meadows".

** A subtle example, but in the episode, there's a bait-and-switch moment where Sofia thinks she's getting a majestic black pegasus to ride, but her horse actually turns out to be a small purple Pegasus with small wings named Minimus. Sofia ''still'' reacts with joy, and even when Minimus advises Sofia to switch horses (and more than once at that), Sofia adamantly insists that she can win the race with Minimus. [[spoiler:And she's right, she does tie for first place with James.]]

* Back in "The Big Sleepover", Amber had trouble connecting with Sofia's friends Ruby and Jade, so it's sweet seeing her able to befriend them properly in "Four's a Crowd", [[spoiler:even though this causes Sofia to become jealous for a while.]]

** After Sofia learns that Hugo was trying to live up to his family's legacy [[spoiler:thanks to his horse Electra]], she has a heart-to-heart talk with him, offering to help him win the Flying Crown for his family, and despite his facial expression, Hugo doesn't even get angry with Sofia for mentioning that nobody in his family has fulfilled that goal.
** Hugo is surprised that the crowd is singing the Royal Prep cheer for him and Sofia [[spoiler:despite the cheer only to be sung after winning]], and Sofia tells him how important teamwork is. She asks him to race with her, and he smiles at her.
** Hugo and Sofia smile at each other just before the race starts, which makes their opponents, [[spoiler:Vaughan and Vance]] disgusted and presumably jealous.

** Axel tells that Hugo takes after him, and Hugo doesn't even show any annoyance, instead sincerely and happily saying that he takes after Sofia, [[spoiler:making her blush]], and Axel isn't even hurt or jealous when Hugo says this.

* Everything concerning Sofia and Amber in "The Curse of Princess Ivy", especially Amber [[spoiler:TakingTheBullet for Sofia.]]
* Throughout "Winter's Gift", Sofia tries to find a special gift for Cedric. [[spoiler:In the end, Sofia gives him a homemade wand case, and he's absolutely delighted.]]
** So much so, [[spoiler:that he uses a spell to summon snow for Wassalia, essentially the same type of spell he complained about as a "parlor trick" in the pilot movie, but here he does it gladly and without complaint.]]

** Seeing Clio come into her own in the musical theater [[spoiler:and Hildegard coming to watch Clio perform and accept that Clio can have her own interests and still be her best friend.]]

** The episode has Prince Hugo's father, King Garrick, doing everything he can to spend more time with his son, [[spoiler:including becoming the assistant ice hockey coach]]. After seeing Sofia and Hugo perform in an ice-dancing recital, Garrick goes up to the pair, [[OhCrap expected to reprimand Hugo]] for disobeying him only to exclaim that his son has done a wonderful job. Despite having said that ice-dancing was for girls, Garrick admits that he's proud of Hugo and hugs him right in front of an audience [[spoiler:and Hugo not only sincerely enjoys it but isn't even embarrassed nor does he remind his father that people are watching. Normally, kids would be embarrassed by their parents hugging and kissing them in public, but Hugo seems to enjoy it]]. To top it off, Garrick even makes his decision to be the assistant ice-dancing coach, meaning he's embraced his son's passion for ice dancing.

* Usually, it's Sofia who tells Amber that they have to save a friend or loved one, but in "Her Royal Spyness", when Amber and Sofia think their mother is being taken by a sealian, it's Amber who tells Sofia that they have to go after her themselves, [[spoiler:and without a second thought at that]].

** Cedric can't bring himself to hurt Sofia even after taking over the kingdom. When she confronts him in his cell, he places his hand over hers and gives her an incredibly sincere apology. [[spoiler:His HeelFaceTurn at the end makes this sweeter.]]
*** The moment [[spoiler:of his HeelFaceTurn is doubly sweet. He points the staff at her, Sofia gives a little 'no'... and then his expression changes to possibly the warmest smile he's ever expressed. Sofia returning the smile is the icing on the cake.]]
** [[spoiler:The royal family finally showing respect to Cedric is very touching.]]
** [[spoiler:The fact that James is the one to ''immediately'' ask Cedric for a magic show makes sense: outside of Sofia, James is probably the most respectful to Cedric out of Roland's children.]]
* In "Pin the Blame on the Genie", Roland's support towards Sofia after [[spoiler:the genie court finds Kazeem guilty. He has no logical reason to doubt the court's decision, but he trusts Sofia, and if she believes Kazeem's innocent, then there had to be some evidence yet to be discovered.]] That pep talk gives her the courage to try again and ultimately crack the case.

** When Sofia and Calista learn why Cedric's magic spell ruined Cordelia's hair, Calista tries to save her young mother from being affected by the tainted serum. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, since the Looking Back Glass can only show events as they had already happened, young Cordelia is unable to hear her future daughter, making the rescue unsuccessful.]]
** After Sofia and Calista learn the incident that broke a bond between Cedric and Cordelia, the girls return to Calista's room to find that Cedric had been watching. Why is this heartwarming? This would imply that Cedric had been looking for Calista and Sofia and went into his niece's room to find them [[spoiler:only to see that her Looking Back Glass is showing the incident]].
** Cedric [[spoiler:reconciling with his sister once the childhood misunderstanding between them is exposed. He even is able to reverse the magic spell that ruined her hair, and she returns to being kind and encouraging toward him rather than condescending and superior.]]
* Back in "The Flying Crown" [[spoiler:(where he has his HeelFaceTurn)]], Hugo was just moping around, listening to everyone sing "Huzzah! Huzzah!" in the beginning, so it's really sweet to see him sing this song with his friends in "Princess Jade".

* In "The Royal School Fair", Amber shows how much Sofia means to her. She suggests Sofia become her royal advisor, she wanted to help Sofia when she was having a hard time picking her school, and after the stone plates on the Wall of Next Steps are changed into chalkboards, she reveals that she doesn't want Sofia to go off in a different direction. While it was wrong for Amber to pick Sofia's school for her, [[spoiler:especially without asking]], it's sweet how she's attached to her sister.

*** As the class is heading up to the stage, Vivian and Clio walk up while holding hands. They were seen becoming fast friends over their shared love of music and performing in "The Royal School Fair", and it's great to see that two characters who've had trouble asserting themselves throughout the series find new kinship, especially since they are heading off to the same school after Royal Prep.
** [[DarkestHour As Sofia struggles to fight Vor]], she sees [[spoiler:every Disney Princess she's summoned in the past appear on the walls of the Amulet, looking down on her proudly and nodding to her to not give up.]]
** [[spoiler:Cedric reaches the pinnacle of his CharacterDevelopment by leading all of Sofia's gathered family and friends into helping to perform a ritual to save Sofia from being trapped inside the Amulet of Avalor. Upon his success, Roland tells him that from now on he will be known as "Cedric the Great", and his father tells him that he's so proud of him. At long last, Cedric has gained the acknowledgement, respect and self-esteem he'd craved for so long, and he gained it through being good, not evil.]]
** The fact that Cedric [[spoiler:even called out to his parents for help, when in earlier interactions he's often rebuffed their advice for constantly hovering over him. In this moment, he doesn't even hesitate to reach out to them, knowing that he ''needs'' their help and that his pride is no longer his main concern.]]
** In addition, [[spoiler:after the ritual is a success, Cedric picks up the amulet, the thing he had desired for so long in order to use its power to take over the kingdom. He looks at it, smiles, and then tells Sofia "I believe this belongs to you" as he hands it back to her.]]
** Amber is with Sofia to the very end. While in ''Once Upon a Princess'', she was against Sofia nearly the entire time, this time, she is firmly planted on Sofia's side [[spoiler:now helping Sofia slip away to her Protector duties, being the first to agree with Sofia on going back to fight Vor, jumping on her back (Sofia had just turned into a flying horse) with a determined cry of "I'm coming with you!" and even helping Sofia entrap Vor in the amulet. It shows just how much she's come to care for Sofia by just how upset she looks when Sofia gets sucked in as well. If you listen, you can even hear her whimper as she stares down at the amulet and her eyes twitch as if she's about to cry.]]
*** For the [[spoiler:ritual to bring Sofia back, Cedric initially only called for those with magical powers, due to the magical requirements of the ritual. Amber is the one who insists that she and all of the non-magical friends and family be allowed to help out with the ritual.]]

* The scene with Mulan in "Princesses to the Rescue!" is a meta example. Mulan and Jun barely speak to each other, but their voices are provided by mother and daughter Creator/MingNaWen and Creator/MichaelaZee. Awww...

** Keep in mind that this is only the first episode aired after ''Once Upon a Princess'', and Amber has already shown how she cares about Sofia -- not only does she take it poorly when Hugo makes Sofia fall off Minimus, but at the end, she's unimpressed with the jersey Sofia was given for winning and insists she needs a real prize... and the prize Amber gives Sofia is her derby tiara.

* In "The Silent Knight," Aunt Tilly shows that she doesn't have problem with Sir Bartleby's [[HeliumSpeech voice]], telling him she likes "one-of-a-kind things".

* Any time Amber and Sofia have their sisterly moments. It really shows how far their relationship has come since ''Once Upon a Princess''.

** When the rest of the hockey team catches Hugo ice-dancing, Derek is about to make fun of Hugo only for James and Sofia to stand up for him, pointing out how Sofia went through this experience herself. The other boys decide they're okay with Hugo ice-dancing. As for James, he could've just let Derek make fun of Hugo for his love of Ice-Dancing because the latter made fun of him and Sofia in "Just One of the Princes", but he didn't--of all the princes on the hockey team, it was James who saved Hugo from being made fun of. This proves that their relationship has come a long way. After the ice-dancing recital, Hugo's friends are so impressed with his skill that they ask him to teach them how to ice-dance too.

* In "Gone with the Wand", when Cedric learns that Sofia has been granted an invite to meet Merlin, his idol, he doesn't even express jealousy, telling her with great enthusiasm that she's been granted quite the honor. The scene only gets all the more touching when Sofia says that the invite allows her to take two guests, and since she knows how much Cedric idolizes Merlin, he was the first person she thought of.
** Also, Cedric's niece Calista, who is even ''more'' adoring and respectful of Cedric than Sofia, to the point where she even styles her hair to be the same style as her "Uncle Ceddy's". Between her presence and him winning the respect of his lifelong hero, this was a great episode for the show's resident NoRespectGuy.

* "Dads and Daughters Day" has Sofia doubting if King Roland is her real dad, since he is her stepfather. During a school field trip with Roland and Amber, Sofia ends up feeling increasingly like a third wheel. Luckily Roland and ''Amber'' are both adamant that Sofia is Roland's real daughter even if he wasn't there from her birth and at no point is she considered ''just'' a stepdaughter.

* In "Through the Looking Back Glass", Cedric [[spoiler:reconciling with his sister once the childhood misunderstanding between them is exposed. He even is able to reverse the magic spell that ruined her hair, and she returns to being kind and encouraging toward him rather than condescending and superior.]]
** Prior to this, after Sofia and Calista learn the incident that broke a bond between Cedric and Cordelia, the girls return to Calista's room to find that Cedric had been watching. Why is this heartwarming? This would imply that Cedric had been looking for Calista and Sofia and went into his niece's room to find them [[spoiler:only to see that her Looking Back Glass is showing the incident]].

* In "Pirated Away", Amber spends most of the episode ranting about how she thinks Miranda's reasons to refuse to let her and Sofia sail to the Cloudless Sea alone is unfair. When Amber falls off the pirates' ship on an iceberg, Miranda jumps after her, which makes Amber finally appreciate her mother's concerns and apologize for acting the way she did. At the end of the episode, Amber admits that she's happy Miranda came long with her and Sofia.

* Chrysta revealed in "The Mystic Isles: Undercover Fairies" that she didn't have fairy friends on her home isle, but in "Return to Merroway Cove", a mermaid Protector, Nerissa, revealed that she and Chrysta were being trained at the same time, and they had fun together. While Chrysta grew up having no friends on the Isle Fairies, it's sweet that she had at least one friend while she was training to be a Protector.

** Amber is with Sofia to the very end. * Similar to "Baileywick's Day Off", we see that Sofia and the Royals fully consider Baileywick a member of the family in "Baileywhoops". To elaborate, when Baileywick keeps messing up (no one knows it was the cursed pin yet), no one scolds him or even gets mad at him, only suggesting he should take a break and implying that even if he does retire, they would be happy to have him live with them as thanks for his long years of service. Sofia does everything she can to help him do better, even promising to do his chores just so he can stay. That's dedication. Miranda even says outright that Baileywick is part of the family and both she and Roland admit later that nothing will be the same without him.
** Also in that episode, Cedric makes peace with a former class rival, Greylock, and the two work together to save the assembled royals. And Greylock makes sure that Cedric gets his due credit for it, earning a round of appreciation from Roland, something Cedric clearly appreciates.

* Cedric coming to teach Sofia's magic class in "Substitute Cedric". Naturally, the sorcerer only agreed to it because he needed an herb from Royal Prep's greenhouse, but by the end of the episode, Cedric has had so much fun with the kids that he continues the lesson.
** From the same episode, we see Cedric as a child, and he is adorable!
*** The level of concern displayed by Sofia and her friends towards Royal Prep being threatened with getting floated away by bubbles is heartwarming as well. In many shows, kids are shown to despise or be bored with school, but it is clear that the students of Royal Prep really adore their school.
* Seeing Clio come into her own in the musical theater in "Sidekick Clio" [[spoiler:and Hildegard coming to watch Clio perform and accept that Clio can have her own interests and still be her best friend.]]
** Also in the episode is Cedric being drafted by Roland to help James come up with stage effects for the school play. At first, he shows his characteristic sourness with anything involving children and resignedly gives Princess Penelope wings, which delights her and amazes the other children, with Princess Kari saying that it's the best trick she's seen all year. Cedric's happiness at someone being genuinely impressed with his magic, and actually enjoying himself, is very sweet to watch and shows that for all his misanthropy towards children, he would make a very good teacher.

* [[BullyTurnedBuddy The ending of "A Little Witch"]]. Predictable, yes, but heartwarming? Definitely.

** Keep in mind that this is only the first episode aired after ''Once Upon a Princess'', and Amber has already shown how she cares about Sofia--not only does she take it poorly when Hugo makes Sofia fall off Minimus, but at the end, she's unimpressed with the jersey Sofia was given for winning and insists she needs a real prize... and the prize Amber gives Sofia is her derby tiara.

*** [[WhenHeSmiles Cedric's big, goofy smile just clinches it.]] It's the happiest we've ever seen him, outside of his scheming and sneaking, and it's so very sweet.
** When Sofia first turns herself into a lizard by accident, Cedric doesn't even think for a second of using the opportunity to steal the Amulet from her, [[EveryoneHasStandards instead reassuring her that she'll be fine]] before casting the spell to return her to normal. Knowing that he could do it is exactly why she pulled off her BatmanGambit later.
** A very small, but interesting one: when talking about Goodwin the Great's hallowed period of service to King Roland I, Cedric makes it a point to refer to the past king as Sofia's "grand-dad". It's possible that Cedric was just keeping up appearances, but it's sweet to think that even with his grievances towards Roland and the royal family, he never questioned Sofia's place in it (keeping in mind, it probably hasn't even been a month since Sofia was crowned princess).

** The ending: Cedric has the chance to use his invisibility potion to steal Sofia's amulet, but because [[BecauseYouWereNiceToMe she helped him prove what a good sorcerer he is]], he decides against it.

** When Sofia first turns herself into a lizard by accident, Cedric doesn't even think for a second of using the opportunity to steal the Amulet from her, instead reassuring her that she'll be fine before casting the spell to return her to normal. Knowing that he could do it is exactly why she pulled off her BatmanGambit later.

* Normally, Sofia asks Cedric for help, but it's different in "The Fliegel Has Landed". She asks him to conjure up some Cave Crystals, but it turns out he has no Diamond Dust left. Then Cedric is surprised when she tells him that she needed cave crystals for her troll friend, Gnarly, to give to Grotta the fliegel. Cedric says that he's had run-ins with fliegels before, and he just jumps in and offers to help stand up to Grotta...and Sofia didn't even have to ask him to help. What's more, when Grotta kidnaps Sofia, Cedric is noticeably ''angry'', proving that [[PapaWolf he doesn't approve anyone messing with Sofia]].

Everyone is worried about Sofia, but nonetheless, Hugo was the only one to race to her rescue. The scene is more touching when the whole hockey team surrounds Sofia to see if she's okay.
** Hugo proves that while he never lost his competitive edge, he's come a long way from how he was in "Just One of the Princes"; his dedication in helping Sofia is very sweet, and it's no less touching that he won't let her give up when she fails to pull off an ice-dancing move. Also, while Hugo was against Sofia wanting to join the flying derby team in the aforementioned episode, Sofia encourages Hugo to take up ice dancing because he likes it. Later, just before the ice-dancing recital, Sofia realizes what a great friend Hugo has been to her, and she decides to be just as good a friend to him.

* "Day Of The Sorcerers" has a few stand out moments:

The moment goes from tearjerker to heartwarmer when everyone gathers to celebrate the holiday with her, saying that she's like family to them.]]
** [[spoiler:In "The Mystic Isles: Undercover Fairies", it's proven the events of said episode have changed Chrysta to the point where she invites Sofia to her house for tea.]]

** Throughout the whole episode, Cedric expresses genuine remorse at having betrayed Roland's trust, and it's clear that he's done blaming the king for his earlier frustrations. Now, he's desperate to rekindle some semblance of their childhood friendship, as shown in the song "On Your Side."
* In "A Royal Wedding", when James admits to Amber that he let Aunt Tilly's fish loose and let her take the blame out of jealousy that she turned out to be heir to the throne, Amber is shocked at first, but she almost immediately forgives her brother, remembering that she made Sofia look bad in ''Once Upon a Princess'' for the same reason.
* In " The Royal School Fair", Amber shows how much Sofia means to her. She suggests Sofia become her royal advisor, she wanted to help Sofia when she was having a hard time picking her school, and after the stone plates on the Wall of Next Steps are changed into chalkboards, she reveals that she doesn't want Sofia to go off in a different direction. While it was wrong for Amber to pick Sofia's school for her, [[spoiler:especially without asking]], it's sweet how she's attached to her sister.

*** Not only did Cedric keep the rubies Sofia made for him years ago in "Cedric's Apprentice," he's repurposed them into a new tiara for her to wear to her graduation.
*** The castle staff sending off the royal family, with [[NotSoStoic Baileywick visibly tearing up with a big smile on his face.]]
*** Sofia's animal friends make her ''a crispy apple tart - her favourite snack'' to help her through it; she thanks them "from the bottom of my heart".

*** Amber and Sofia are truly sisters; as they descend the stairs, Amber approves of Sofia's dress by asking "Where were you hiding that new dress?"

*** As the class is heading up to the stage, Vivian and Clio walk up while holding hands. They were seen becoming fast friends over their shared love of music and performing in "The Royal School Fair," and it's great to see that two characters who've had trouble asserting themselves throughout the series find new kinship, especially since they are heading off to the same school after Royal Prep.
