* The artwork for Day 10 of the 2023 Advent Calendar showed a variety of non-traditional Neopian families, including a Ruki parent implied to be nonbinary (holding a shirt that says "Best Parent Eva"), a pair of Aisha mothers with their child, Little Timmy with his grandparents, a Vandagyre father in a wheelchair with his wife and child, and a gay Nimmo and Lutari couple with their (implied to be deaf) Lutari child, using sign language. The prizes for that day were a Handmade Christmas Card showing the Aisha family ("A handmade card for the best moms!") and a book called Many Kinds of Families ("Not all families look the same, and this should be celebrated!")

* One of the most heartwarming arcs is not from any of the plots oddly enough though. Any Pound Chat regular should know the story of Gwen, a blue Uni, who was being transferred between accounts. The transfer was canceled, but Gwen's owner's account had been deactivated, so she was stuck in limbo until the admins got around to solving her problem. Many a PC-er wanted to adopt her, many of which only did so because of her plight. Gwen is now happily adopted, morphed into a Gold Draik, and it's clear her new owner loves her very much.

* At the 12th day of 2017's Advent Calendar videos, after several years of bitter nemesis-hood, we see [[spoiler:MAGAX]] visit [[spoiler:Ghost!Hubrid Nox]], who has a gift for him. [[spoiler:And it's actually sincere, despite the gifts being stored inside a coffin.]]
** On the 17th day, it shows that despite Sophie no longer living with the rest of her family, she still takes time to visit them for the holidays. And then a knock comes on the door. Sophie and Bruno recall Krawley, who brought trouble to Neovia in the first place. [[spoiler:Turns out it was just Gilly, who hasn't forgotten about them, and the family allows her to join in]].

* After unlocking the Lab Ray, you can use it on one of your pets once a day for a chance to change their stats, species, color, or gender. Since pets with rare colors are highly valued, a lot of users with Lab Ray access adopt basic-colored pets from the Pound for the purpose of zapping them until they turn into more exotic colors and then sending them back to the Pound in hopes that their new look will be more appealing to potential adopters.

In the same interview, he also addressed concerns about the team's new coach Ginia being suspected of only being promoted out of nepotism (due to being the previous coach's daughter and, now, the aforementioned Mirsha Grelinek's girlfriend) by countering that, no, she good the job because she was good at it; Mirsha and Ginia keep professional boundaries on-season, and they both treat the game as SeriousBusiness.
