* An incredibly backhanded example in the christmas special shows that the mothers (and grandmother) of the band are all friends and seem to genuinely enjoy each others company. (even Toki's mother!) This would, of course, be a lot more heartwarming if they weren't all horrible people.

** The Duel shows just how much Toki and Skwissgar need each other. While Skwissgar is a talented musician at the end of the duel he realizes that Toki's playing elevated him to play on a level he never could before, and for Toki while rough around the edges and immature, is able to keep up and perform on an expert level with Skwissgar thanks to being able to play off of Skwissgar's playing, showing that they complement each other perfectly.
