* Briefly, a concerned Git readily explains to Marckus and his friends that Spit is suffering from Ritalin withdrawal. It's surprising he felt he owed them an explanation, considering they're not on good terms, but it's a nice sign of how reasonable Git can be when Brok doesn't have him under his thumb. He's audibly touched upon listening to Fatigue's first bit of advice for Spit and continues looking out for him for the rest of the chapter.

It's surprising he felt he owed them an explanation, considering they're not on good terms, but it's a nice sign of how reasonable Git can be when Brok doesn't have him under his thumb. He also helps Fatigue look out for Spit throughout the episode and is clearly fearing for his safety during the ending, where he's locked away from where Fatigue is killed and Spit is left terrified.
* The first time it looks like Kitten and Grimal are about to have an argument, Marckus steps in and distracts her with anime talk. It takes him and Brok literally trying to strangle one another for Marckus to not be able to stop an argument between the two. After it, Elise goes to comfort Grimal, while it seems the only reason Marckus didn't go do the same for Kitten is that Harry dragged him to weight lift with him, likely sensing Marckus himself needed a distraction. While bad blood between Kitten and Grimal is pretty depressing, it shows this circle of friends work very well as a support network.

Today, I learned that the British equivalent of a penny… is called a penny.

** In checkout, D is exactly one pound short of being able to purchase his blender. Giles decides to spot him without prompting, not just to placate him into leaving the store, but because of all the trouble D went through to get that blender in the first place. He did have a nasty fall, after all...
