* In "Make Everything Plushies", Nobita learns that Shizuka has been saving money to buy a plush otter. However, when Suneo comes by, he mistakenly thinks that Nobita wants the plush for himself, and decides to buy it to mess with him. Shizuka is devastated to find out that the toy has been sold, so Nobita asks Doraemon for help and they make a new otter plush for Shizuka, who cries TearsOfJoy on receiving it. Seeing how happy they made her, Nobita and Doraemon make a huge collection of plush toys for Shizuka, but she points out that she has no space for them. Doraemon then gets the idea to create a plush ''house'' to store the entire collection in Shizuka's yard, letting her keep the plushies after all.

* In one episode, Suneo makes fun of his grandmother's belief in superstitions. Even Nobita can't help but laugh, as he is sure that things such as "Hell" or "King Yama" don't really exist. Doraemon concurs that while the existence of either Hell or King Yama had yet to be scientifically proven even in 22nd century, it is still not right to disrespect an elder. Doraemon going as far as using a gadget to teach Suneo a lesson to respect his grandmother, even thought it somewhat backfires later, is still nice to see.

* In "Goodbye to You", Nobita uses the What-If Telephone Booth to see how his friends would react if he suddenly had to move to America. Gian cries ManlyTears and reassures Nobita that he can always come back if the move doesn't work out, Suneo leaves him with an exorbitant number of gifts in an effort to [[TheAtoner make up for all the times he's picked on him]], and Shizuka spends a long time lingering outside until Nobita's mother encourages her to come in, before descending into InelegantBlubbering. Even Nobita's teacher stops by with some words of encouragement. Goes to show that [[VitriolicBestBuds as much as they give him a hard time]], the people around Nobita really care about him.

* In general, the fact that everyone accepts Doraemon as one of their own, and especially that the Nobis accomodate him like a second son is pretty touching. This is the very definition of open-mindedness.
** Heck, in the "Robot Kingdom" manga, at least, Nobita's mom explicitly says that Doraemon is also her son!
