* The Darkwing Annual had a story where Quackerjack's former girlfriend bought his Mr. Banana Brain doll, in the hopes of bringing "Jacky" back to his senses. She tells Darkwing, after offering him snacks, that she knows Jacky was once a good guy who wanted to bring joy to others. Darkwing is so touched that he promises that, after stopping the jester's plot, that he will try to reason with Quackerjack. Sadly it segues into TearJerker in that just as he's about to try, Quackerjack has vanished. It turns out Jacky when to his girlfriend's house and was debating on going inside. The look on his face speaks volumes of how he loved her before he turns himself into a doll for her, with a DearJohnLetter saying this is the best version of him.

* Throughout the episode, Darkwing and Grizzlikof constantly butt heads due to the latter wanting to make the arrest and the former trying to protect Herb. In the end, however, even though it was D.W. and herb working together who ultimately defeat Weasel Lowman , D.W. happily hands the crook over to Grizzlikof, holding no grudge for their conflict and knowing how much the case means to the bear.
