** We see Maurice painting a portrait of the dance scene before him. In regards to his song "How Does a Moment Last Forever", Maurice is all about using art to capture the small moments of life that are beautiful or worth remembering. He's painting his daughter and her boyfriend (so-to-be-husband) so, come what may, everyone will always remember the beginning of happily ever after.
** Mrs. Potts approaches Maurice, singing the last verse of the title theme to him, and he nods in approval. It comes across as Beast's surrogate mother befriending her surrogate son's new father-in-law, parent to parent.
** The novelization makes it much clearer and more heartwarming that (besides the Prince) Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip, Plumette, Madame Garderobe, Maestro Cadenza, Chapeau, and Frou-Frou have all become a part of Belle's family just as much as Maurice!

In the end, after everyone's been turned back, Gaderobe is holding him and cuddling him while she sings.

* Belle and Beast's romance during the second half of the film, in comparison to the original, appears to be more grounded and down-to-earth. Here, Belle becomes closer to the Beast not just because of his spontaneous kindness, but also his dry sense of humor, and having an interest in reading like she does. Their scene together in the colonnade and their scene in Paris where they learn about Belle's mother is where it shines:
-->'''Belle:''' (''regarding the servants'') They know how to have a good time! \\
'''Beast:''' Yes, but when I enter a room, laughter dies. \\
'''Belle:''' Me too. The villagers say that I'm a funny girl, but I'm not sure they mean it as a compliment. \\
'''Beast:''' I'm sorry. ...Your village sounds terrible! \\
'''Belle:''' (''chuckles'') Almost as lonely as your castle.

* [[spoiler: Music/CelineDion sings the ending credits song "How Does a Moment Last Forever". As singer of the original movie's end credits, 26 years later, her voice is still as hauntingly beautiful as it ever was before.]]
* To anyone who has followed the development of this film for over a decade, watching it be greenlit then shelved, then greenlit then shelved over and over again, the mere fact that this film was finally made can solicit some tears of joy - especially when witnessing the film in theatres for the first time.

* Garderobe forcibly dresses and applies makeup to three of the male villagers. Two of them are horrified, but one of them (Stanley) is genuinely happy with the makeover. Upon her instruction to, "Go, be free," the aforementioned two run in terror while Stanley gracefully walks away. It's played for humour, but the film also gives this character a sense of dignity the other two lack and never shows any indication said character is punished for enjoying the makeover.
