* At the end of the episode, Bruce pays Terry a visit. When Mary asks how Bruce and Terry met, Terry is (understandably) hesitant. Bruce immediately comes to Terry's rescue, saying that Terry had saved his life from "a group of hooligans" and refused payment. Granted, it's plausible that Bruce is acting in an attempt to cover Terry's appearance as Batman. However, his earnestness seems to indicate that he is grateful that Terry saved his life earlier.

* Just seeing Barbara and her Husband, Sam, fully in their old married couple form, they truly loved each other. It's clear that Sam was told about Batgirl a long time ago, but he still loves her.
* When Barbara gives Terry one final warning at Terry due to a botch set up to nab Curare, Terry ask why does she hate Bruce so much, to which she answers "Ancient History". Terry plays along and says "History's his favorite subject", Barbara can't help but give this new Batman a smile of approval, already seeing what Bruce saw in him that made him worthy.

At the end of the episode, after all he's seen, Terry says that Bruce was right... but Bruce says they were both right, indicating that he now believes that Fries sincerely intended to reform and that, on some level, he's forgiven his former foe.

Terry is about to take him to the police before Fries tells him to let him go, saying "I've done this man enough harm." Then Fries frees the man from Terry's bolas and earnestly vows to make amends for his past crimes.
