This causes Oblina to start hanging out with him, leaving Ickis, Krumm, and Zimbo feeling unhappy. When Oblina and the Snorch go to a factory to scare some workers, Oblina becomes lethargic and falls from an overhead catwalk, landing on a crane's hook and hanging dangerously over a barrel of steaming sludge. The Snorch tries to save her, but his mouth catches fire due to the voice box malfunctioning. When Ickis, Krumm, and Zimbo arrive, the Snorch throws Zimbo to Oblina, only for him to return feeling soporific as well. [[TrueCompanions Ickis and Krumm waste no time in saving Oblina]] by running onto the catwalk and pulling the chain to the hook. Oblina regains consciousness when Ickis and Krumm return her to the Snorch, who with his final words, tells her "These are not your intellectual inferiors, these are your true friends."
