** All previous explanations of a Sino-Soviet alliance are reasonable. What's now a problem is the fact that the cutscenes show China invading India, a strong ally of the Soviets. Granted, India was neutral in that it aligned with neither nation, but the Indians and the Soviets have such a strong relationship (that it still continued with the Russian Federation in the real world), so who would the USSR side with?
