** It could be that Yellow was the shortest of the male Zyurangers. Since women statistically tend to be shorter than men, selecting the shortest male ranger for a gender flip makes it less obvious. And once the trend was set, it was just easier to continue it in future season, helped by the fact that most future Yellow Rangers tended to be female as well.

* Okay...do we ever find out ''why'', in-universe, the rangers wear their colors on a regular basis? I get that it helps the viewers remember that Jason, Casey, Conner, or any other guy wearing red every episode when he's not morphed is that season's Red Ranger (or insert Ranger and their color), but are we ever given an exact reason why? Like someone else pointed out above, you'd think that someone would figure out that the Rangers ''are'' the Rangers in part because they keep wearing clothing in the same shades of (insert color) as the Ranger's suit colors. I know that some fanfic authors (like ''[[https://www.archiveofourown.org/users/mrmistoffelees mrmistoffelees]]'') have in at least ''one'' of their fics that wearing their colors helps them connect to the Morphin' Grid, but I don't know if that's a fanon reason or if that actually comes from some form of [[WordofGod Word of God]] situation.

** Simply put, no, aside from seasons with team uniforms, there's never an in universe explanation. The closest we've ever come is when Tommy jokes about buying black clothes for his wardrobe in Dino Thunder. That could suggest that it's just sort of a playful tradition among rangers, but even that is only speculation.

** Perhaps Cam is able to teleport the chest plate to himself when required. Or it might be that once the chest plate is removed, it always demorphs and Cam can summon it the same way any other ranger with a SuperMode summons their additional armour.

** Saban did. Twice. The first was Rangers of Two Worlds, which is looked on relatively favorably, just mainly forgotten as it was made before the regular team ups. The second was Trakeena's Revenge, which had a host of behind the scenes mishaps and is generally considered subpar. The result has basically been that the team up is used to wrap up lingering plot threads from the previous season which either didn't exist or were modified from the Sentai footage (Jinxer's GoGoV counterpart was the team up villain for Timeranger, as opposed to Vypra in the Time Force, etc.), and as such, the Sentai footage doesn't fit the story being told.

** Of course, Bulk and Skull were total jerks in the beginning. They were laughable and incompetant as bullies, but still jerks, it wasn't until season 2 that they started to sogten up and reform and by season 4 they could actually be considered friends of the main cast. They were still pretty bumbling and immature, but overall good guys who hung around other good people. Leelee did do some pretty bad stuff (but was genuinely sorry for it and tried to make it right), but that still doesn't change the fact that the Mystic Force Rangers do indeed largely come off as jerks all around.

* Why isn't there a Wild Force/Ninja Storm crossover, a SPD/Mystic Force crossover, a Mystic Force/Operation Overdrive crossover or an Operation Overdrive/Jungle Fury crossover?

*** According to the Rangercast podcast, Disney hated doing old season crossovers because it was "advertising old toys" which they felt was a waste of time and money. In fact, Disney only allowed Once a Ranger on the condition that their be no more crossovers ever, which is why an OO/JF crossover never happened.

*** He is? Everything I've found says that he's got mostly European ancestry on both sides. This is the only place that I've seen that suggests he's even part Native American.

** It runs on the genre. The synchrony of [[Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion EVA's]] pilots; the Lambda Driver from ''LightNovel/FullMetalPanic''; the Dual Kinds from ''Anime/{{Betterman}}''; the hot-blooded guys of ''Manga/GetterRobo'', the, uh, HumongousMecha engineer grandpa from ''Anime/MazingerZ''... there's always some unique condition to be able to the mechas. So I guess that the Zords run on Getter Energy, and that would also answer why they needed some "youngs with attitude"...
