\n***** We are comparing them to a half-term governor who quit due to investigations into her ethics violations-turned failed vice presidential candidate turned reality television star. So yeah. Nothing irrational. She is just a valid a target for criticism, and has as many questionable things about her, as those aforementioned figures on the left. Just because Palin gives you a boner does not make her above reproach.

It says right at the top that if it\'s covered by rule of funny then it doesnt count.

* Santa Christ's small rant near the end about how it takes him three days to come back from the dead, and they don't have any frame of reference for that. I can understand RuleOfFunny, but there's a slight hole in his argument. He's got {{Phelous}} in the same room. At the time, Phelous was dying in every episode, and being perfectly okay in the next episode. Hell, in the Hotel Awesome series for that year, he gets killed by Joe, and revives in seconds. And Joe proceeds to kill him multiple times. Point is, they have a frame of reference in the same room. Why does no one, Phelous included, question him on that? It's not like it's an obscure part of his reviews, it's a major joke in there.
** If we follow the theory that ThisIsReality and we're seeing the reviewers in their day-to-day lives rather than as characters in their respective series, than it follows to reason that Phelous doesn't really die. If we don't...I dunno.
** Phelous probably didn't see any point in bringing it up, since Santa Christ was specifically addressing Nostalgia Chick, and then changed the subject.

* So, am I the only one who's a little ticked off by the Ask That Guy video from the DVD. Not so much that it was made, but the fact that it was put on the DVD. Think about it, most of the video was spent responding to criticisms, stupid questions (I'm well aware that's the purpose of Ask That Guy), and trolling. And as the video goes on it feels more mean spirited, spiteful, and mocking towards the people it's addressing. I know this is an Ask ThatGuy we're talking about, but here's the thing. This is on the DVD, which only hardcore fans are going to buy. Moreso, only hardcore fans who liked the special. I know this probably isn't the case for all those who bought it, but considering the haters could watch the movie for free online, I don't see why they'd pay money for a movie they went out of their way to bash. So the exclusive Ask That Guy just comes off as unnecessarily cruel, and not very enjoyable.
** Did you ''see'' some of the forum comments about who they wanted, who they didn't want and how everything about it sucked because Phelous/Film Brain/whoever was there? They got off lightly, and it was a nice PapaWolf bit from Doug.
** I'm not saying the trolls didn't deserve to get a TakeThat , I'm just saying putting it exclusively on the DVD that, as far as I can see, only people who liked the special would get anyway. Again, I know this isn't true for all, but I'm sure the vast majority of haters just saw the special online and didn't even think to buy the DVD, so he made a TakeThat for people who weren't going to see it. And I agree, it's great that he cares so much for his fellow contributors; that's one of the things I've always liked about this site, how everyone always stands up for everyone else. Having said that, this still comes off as overly spiteful and if he wanted to talk down the trolls he should've posted it on the site rather than put it on the DVD for people who, again, probably actually liked the special.
*** Ahh, now I get you. Although who's to say that nobody put it up on YouTube or one of the hate sites? I know his [[ItMakesSenseInContext dressing up as an air-hostess]] in the first DVD got put up on a "Nostalgia Critic Critic" blog and was torn apart. And it may have just been to get it out there and make himself feel better - slightly childish, true, but fairly harmless.

*** Yes, it is. It's his website. Other people may run it, but he's the reason it exists. Insano made a sizeable appearance, Yanki J storms Molossia, and Beary even gets a few lines. I've only watched some people's videos, but I don't think that many of the other contributors have multiple characters. Linkara does, but he had just come off their MomentOfAwesome at the end of the Mechakara arc, and probably wouldn't have wanted to use them for minor cameos. And Benzaie kind of does, but they're all pretty obviously supposed to be him. And really, what's the big deal? Chester had one gag in the charge, Ask That Guy had one quick joke about how he was a pointless cameo, Dominic was on screen for all of two seconds, and Spider-Smith was a reference to recent events. It's not like Doug's other characters overshadowed everyone else.

** Doug addressed this in his comentary, the rest of the cast were trying to keep their rebellion a secret from NC, which is why they went with Dr. Insano so if it failed N.Bison wouldn't realise they were behind it. Being seen with Snob raises questions they don't want to have to answer.

* I felt like this special used the same joke way too many times. The characters would be speaking in their mock-dramatic tone, then would subvert the drama by breaking into casual-ness. May have been funny once, but then got very tired. Was anyone else bothered by this specific aspect of the special?

* Meta JBM: The guys who post here who end their posts with "does anyone else think this too?" Umm, if they did they would have written that entry instead of you, and all you're gonna do is piss off people who DON'T agree. This isn't the discussion page, stop trying to turn it into one.
** Nonsense. Just because someone else shares your views doesn't mean they would have written the same entry already. The question could be something they were too embarrassed to ask themselves. Or it could be something they never thought about until another questioner brought it up. Or they could be the kind of person who prefers to respond to JBM entries rather than post their own. Furthermore, on their good days most people are fairly rational, so asking if other people agree with your opinion is a rough but easy way to gauge how rational your opinion is. If a lot of people share your opinion, there's probably something to it. If few or no others share your opinion, you should probably reexamine it to make sure it's built on solid logic. In short, you're completely, hilariously, ridiculously wrong.
