** Media, at least in America, got kinda weird and self-conscious after 9/11 in a way it hasn't since, and maybe Capcom noticed. Konami certainly did as a scene showing the World Trade Center was DummiedOut of ''Metal Gear Solid 2''. It wasn't just something happening to major cities that was deemed in bad taste or "sensitive" either, a whole lot of war-related stuff was shied away from for a few months thereafter. The most noticeable case of this that I remember was when Cartoon Network quit showing the original ''Mobile Suit Gundam'' in the middle of its run (even though the entire ''Gundam'' franchise is about as anti-war as it gets) and even after things went back to relative normality, never aired it again despite airing other series like ''08th MS Team''.

* How exactly did Regina and co. plan to rescue those 1,500 (number given in-game) civilians in that tiny ship? The thing isn't even big enough to hold the full compliment of soldiers that supposedly came with them.

* So what lead to the collapse of Edward City and its adjacent facilities? Reading the various notes it appears that constant dinosaur attacks lead to its downfall. Why would carnivorous dinosaurs constantly try to attack them? Surely there was easier prey?

** 9/11 made the idea of anything bad happening to a major metropolitan city in general a touchy subject. For a while attacking cities like New York and LA were considered bad taste or had to be severely watered down. Even if its something as fanciful as dinosaurs.

* The trivia page states "The third game was originally going to be set in a dinosaur-infested city. Capcom ditched this concept out of fear of offending post-9/11 American audiences." Ummmmm... can we get some elaboration there? Dinosaurs and Al-Queda is less of an apples and oranges comparison, than kiwifruit and apricots. I see no tangible link which could cause a reaction of being offended towards such a video game concept?
