** The main one throughout the series, debuting in [[VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys1 the first game]], is Bonnie, an animatronic rabbit who is just as murderous as the others on account of [[spoiler:being possessed by the vengeful ghost of a murdered child]]. Bonnie has many variations throughout the series, such as the deliberately UncannyValley-invoking Toy Bonnie, the severely-damaged yet deadly Withered Bonnie, and Nightmare Bonnie, who's a literal nightmare monster.
** Springtrap, first introduced in ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys3'', is the worst rabbit animatronic by far. His body is tattered and has wires sticking out everywhere, its mouth has deteriorated into a permanent SlasherSmile, and, worst of all, ''[[BigBad William Afton]]'s body is inside it!'' This is because the Springtrap suit (previously known as Spring Bonnie) was the one Afton used to lure his victims to their deaths before [[HoistByHisOwnPetard being killed by the suit itself]].
** Vanny, the BigBad of ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddysSecurityBreach'', was corrupted by Afton's influence, turning her into a PsychoKnifeNut who wears a creepy rabbit costume.

** ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys2'' introduces Toy
Bonnie, an animatronic rabbit straight out of the UncannyValley, and Withered Bonnie, an older version of Bonnie missing its upper jaw [[spoiler:and will eventually be repaired to become FNAF 1's Bonnie.]] There's also the mysterious RWQFSFASXC, aka Shadow Bonnie, whom if stared at too long crashes the game.
** ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys3'' introduces the most sinister example of this trope for the first time, Springtrap, a decayed animatronic initially created to be versatile enough for humans to wear. [[spoiler:It contains the corpse of the BigBad of the series, William Afton, who's responsible for all the child murders.]]

[[spoiler:Then TheEndingChangesEverything: M.X.E.S. had very good reason to do what he did, as his role is to keep the Mimic sealed away, and Cassie was inadvertently releasing him with her actions.]]
