* The [[BlackComedy morbidly hilarious]] fishing venture the Investigators participate in. They manage to snag a fish and while Jupiter is trying to reel it in. Both Bob and Peter are trying to catch the flopping fish, but the two are are mortified about having to kill the fish. Jupiter ends up slipping and essentially whips the fish back where it presumably dies from fall damage.
-->The fish flew in a high arc towards the shore. There, it hit a tree trunk.
-->"Damn!" Jupiter got to his feet and ran to where the fish lay. It stopped moving. "I think your problem is solved."
-->"Poor fish," Bob mourned as he approached.
-->Peter didn't say anything. He was sick.
-->"Now, he must be gutted," announced Jupiter.

** Mr. Andrews starts telling reporters all about the lastest football game.
** Mrs. Crenshaw doesn't want ''anyone'' asking about her dear son so she calls her father (Peter's grandfather), Ben Peck, who sits outside on the porch with a shotgun.
** Uncle Titus pretends he is hard of hearing and then acts like the reporter are applying for a job at the junkyard.
