'''Jacob:''' ...Yeah. Thanks Thanks, guys.

* Perhaps only funny after having experienced the scenes in question at least a couple times, but many players have claimed that Jacob is the one counselor who tends to get most of the more "self-induced" deaths, at least in the early game (a notable exception to this is Emma, who, in Chapter 4 on the island, can make a quip about [[ShmuckBait checking the trapdoor in the treehouse and dying horribly as a result, only for that exact chain of events to happen should the player actually make that choice in that moment before checking the bag nearby so that they have the taser and bear spray).]] As for Jacob's relatively "self-induced" deaths, if you choose to remove the rotor arm rather than cut the fuel line in Chapter 1, Jacob will lose the arm in the lake in Chapter 3 and can potentially drown when diving to retrieve it after he gets trapped in some barbed wire underwater. What's funny and perhaps "self-inducing" about the situation (at least the 2nd+ time through) is that the choices that Jacob can make to get out are literally labeled "pull" and "detangle." Perhaps YMMV; but most people would think that unless you didn't turn your brain on for this particular segment OR unless you're deliberately trying to get Jacob killed at this exact point for whatever reason, the obviously "correct" choice when it comes to keeping Jacob alive is detangling him. Regardless, you can elect to drown him at that moment.

He'll do a ''really'' bad job at explaining why he's in the position that he's in, remember that he left Emma alone, try to take Kaitlyn's gun to go back for her, (potentially) smack himself in the face with it in slapstick fashion during a brief scuffle with Ryan, and find himself openly berated by Kaitlyn… which elicits a spacey-sounding yet ''open'' chuckle from [[NotSoStoic Ryan]] that gets him scolded as well.

* During Truth or Dare, the player (as Ryan) can choose to give Jacob a turn. If they do, he picks dare, and Ryan dares him to jump over the fire pit naked. Jacob is ''incredibly stoked'' to receive the dare and promptly starts stripping, and while he’s ultimately talked down by Kaitlyn emphasizing what a bad idea it is, Emma… is of a different mind to her.

* In the interrogation scene in chapter 7, a funny scene will happen if you answer Travis's questions. It's easy to miss at first because his demeanor doesn't change if you do or just tell him to eat shit, but if you continue to be compliant, he clearly doesn't expect it, awkwardly dropping his "bad cop" routine like [[VideoGame/LANoire Cole Phelps]] does when backing out of the "doubt" line of questioning.
