There is no continuity, actors can change race, age, or even gender from scene to scene. It's the most A-list game of Pretend you will ever see.

* The whole "MyNameIsInigoMontoya" fight scene between Creator/BryanCranston as Rugen and Creator/JavierBardem as Inigo is funny for two reasons. One, we have two of the finest actors in the world play fighting in their homes like children, and two, Bardem is playing the entire scene [[TookTheBadFilmSeriously like he's going for the Oscars]], but every time the camera cuts back to him, his 'sword' changes into a different implement.
* Creator/PaulRudd doing the ToThePain speech has him giving [[SugarWiki/HeReallyCanAct a very quiet but very powerful performance]] as the camera slowly zooms in on his face... until [[FailedAttemptAtDrama he zooms in too close and has to zoom out]].

* Example from the making of the film. Andre the Giant once drank so much that he passed out in the lobby of his hotel. Andre weighed at least 550 pounds at the time, which meant it was simply not possible to move him, and the hotel resorted to roping him off and guiding people around him while they waited for him to wake up.
* Another Andre story that Cary Elwes told. During filming Andre let out a loud, long fart that lasted almost a minute. After a few moments of stunned silence Rob Reiner asked "Andre? Are you okay?" and Andre cheerfully replied "I am now, Boss!"
