** In Chapter 2, after her interview with Shun'ei is ruined by Kyo and Iori, it cuts to Serina talking to ''Rugal'', asking why everybody is so focused on fighting. * The "Constraints of Power and Time" event is essentially a StableTimeLoop in which Rugal blows up his ship, wakes up in it later, and then goes to his throne room only to find a later version of himself there... who, upon being defeated, promptly blows the ship up, continuing the cycle. '''98'' Rugal actually realizes what's happening and tries to dissuade 2002 Rugal from pressing the button... Only for ''2002'' Rugal to point out that, given that the challenger knows him so well, he'd know that he intends to press it anyway.

* [[Wrestling/DwayneJohnson The Rock's chapter]], is a rollercoaster of funny where The Rock basically brings his hilarious talk-smacking to the [[https://imgur.com/OR97oI6 KOF]] [[https://imgur.com/DTtmdrx cast.]] [[https://imgur.com/QkiDWgW Chizuru Kagura about to give a rundown about the history?]] It doesn't matter what her history is! The Rock isn't here for history lesson, but he could give one if he wishes. [[https://imgur.com/WkKi9wf Orochi, a dark god, about to introduce himself? IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT HIS NAME IS!]] The Rock flips off the god so much that he was stunned in silence and wanted him gone ASAP, unable to withstand The Rock's trash-talking. (And for good measure, The Rock also invites him to co-star him as a sidekick in the newest ''Film/FastAndFurious'' movie.)
* [[Wrestling/JohnCena John Cena]]'s chapter starts with [[https://imgur.com/t01X8f7 Cena running into Shingo and Kyo, where, after witnessing the way Kyo treats Shingo]]; Cena decides to teach Kyo a lesson and take Shingo under his wing. Cena goes to his first match in KOF, where he gets paired with [[https://imgur.com/kNkeeSy Terry and after recognizing the Lone Wolf as an honorable fighter]] and promise to donate all the proceedings of the match to Terry's kid fans, Cena gets the surprise of his life when he realizes Terry can shoot energy from his hands. Cena's following match against the [[https://imgur.com/9N4Xvh8 Agent team starts with the 4th wall breaking fun]], since KOF's Seth isn't available on the game yet, he is replaced with Wrestling/SethRollins much to Shingo's confusion. For the semifinals Cena gets paired with Iori to whom he decides to [[https://imgur.com/kPzobpC smack talk on his Dr. Thuganomics persona]]. And finally, Cena faces Igniz on the finals, who reveals he plans to GrandTheftMe Cena now that he's proven himself as the strongest human around. Cena has nothing of this and [[https://imgur.com/N5yk68c after beating the crap out of Igniz]], he manages to convince Igniz to use his resources for good since that is how he will finally become the God he always wanted to be.

[[folder:''Gintama'']]
The ''Gintama'' Collab [[NoFourthWall does not understand the concept of a fourth wall]].
* Even the battle cards get in on it: [[EstablishingShot "Card used to Save Time and Money"]] mocks the concept of StockFootage in its description while another card "Collab in Progress" seems to be a W.I.P. card... as the description only reads "Collab in Progress" [[BrokenRecord over and over]].
* Shinpachi Shimura is part of the Rush event storyline... as a floating pair of glasses. And it isn't just a case of him only being recognized by his glasses, ''his glasses are the only part of him that the cast, including your character, Noah and himself can see.''
* At one point, Gintoki bemoans the fact that all of his opponents so far have been men, prompting Noah to mention that KOF has iconic female fighters. Shinpachi [[CovertPervert immediately notes that contact in a fight is inevitable]], prompting Gintoki to remind him that he's just a pair of floating glasses, and Noah throws fuel on the fire by pointing out that the women wear "functional" clothing [[BreakingTheFourthWall according to the designers]]. [[AllMenArePerverts needless to say]], Kagura is disgusted. And then the next opponent turns out to be [[MsFanservice Mai...]]
** When the earthquake denoting an environment shift happens, Gintoki wonders if [[WhatTheHellPlayer the player dropped their phone.]]
* In the cutscene after that stage, the gang finds Elizabeth and realizes he was recording them. Kagura wonders if he was spying on her because she's cute and wonders what he plans to do with the video, with her suggestions being written as "[censored]". She then ''takes offense'' to Gintoki claiming nobody wants to watch her videos,
-->Kagura: "There are plenty of fans who call me waifu and have me on a body-pillow!"
* Eventually, the group realizes that Kondou's around. The Yorozuya Ginchan are not thrilled at the possibility of running into him, but Shinpachi points out that he might know something. Gintoki worries about what will happen to Noah when they meet him, but Shinpachi says that she'll be fine, probably. And just as Gintoki theorized, Noah immediately hides behind him out of suspicion of Kondou when they actually do meet him.
* Upon hearing Kondou's screaming, Gintoki makes a last-ditch effort to pretend he doesn't hear anything and to go somewhere else. Shinpachi has to force him in Kondou's direction. Despite being nothing more than glasses.
* After beating Kondou, Gintoki plays around with the possibility of staying in the KOF universe forever. Kagura pointing out that they don't sell [[Magazine/ShonenJump Jump]] in the KOF world, and Noah confirming it, is enough to put him off the idea entirely and re-motivates him to find Elizabeth.
* Part two of the Collab begins with Katasura upset at having been left out of the first collab. Then, Elizabeth appears with Stein, the former having been beaten up at the end of the previous collaboration. Stein teams up with Katasura and Elizabeth to get revenge.
--> Narrator: "[[LemonyNarrator (It looks like they're whispering a long-ass explanation. Since the player may find it boring, I'll save you from reading it.)]]"
* Gintoki is awoken from his nightmare by the player character and Kaya, who are still chasing after Stein after the [[GenderBender Lady Fighters event]], falling on top of him. They also leave a large hole in the roof of the building. When the landlady is attracted by all of the racket, Gintoki looks both the hole and the door [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere before deciding to escape through the window, leaving Shinpachi to deal with it.]]
* While looking for whoever "K" might be, the team runs into Jhun Hoon. When Shinpachi points out that he has a copy of Tsuu's photo album, Jhun calls him "a pair of flying glasses with taste." After the match with Kim's team, Kim learns that Jhun dragged Chang with him to join Tsuu's fan club rather than reflecting on his loss, forcing Kim to ask Shinpachi for directions on where it is. At the very end, Choi appears lamenting that his team forgot him.
* Right after beating Kamui, who's otherwise [[KnightOfCerebus treated more seriously compared to the rest of the collab]], for the first time, Kaya asks Shinpachi if he's one of the "scheming types". When Shinpachi asks her about it, she promptly [[LampshadeHanging hangs a lampshade]] on the entire KOF villain formula
-->Kaya: Well, usually the bosses in KOF tend to brush themselves off and start monologuing like, "Hahaha, that was entertaining, but I will be the winner!" And then they pull out a self-destruct switch to blow up an air carrier or the building, and then the ground gets crumbled by someone who was hidden!
* Shinpachi promptly notes that those are predictable boss tactics before noting that Kamui isn't that type so they should be fine. The ground then promptly explodes and Takasugi appears, although he isn't working with Kamui.
* By the end of the second collaboration, the team is space, have fought against Kamui and Takasugi and they still have no idea who the final boss is supposed to be. Shinpachi tries throwing out names of who the final boss of the collab could be, eventually deciding that announcer Ketsuno, who Gintoki is okay with losing to. Zura, or rather Katsura, then reveals himself as "K"... but nobody pays any attention to him, making him furious. This is because the Yorozuya Ginchan didn't bother telling Kaya and the Player that Katsura was "Zura"'s real name [[note]]Indeed, when Katsura is encountered earlier in the story, he's introduced as "Zura". During this cutscene, he's reintroduced as "Kotarou Katsura".[[/note]] By this point, Gintoki is fed up, responding to Katsura's vow of making him feel Elizabeth's pain (at being an enemy and beaten up) and his rage (at having been denied a part in the initial collab) with an exasperated "I don't care! [[SelfDeprecation Complain to Netmarble!]]
** When Katsura states that they "at the peak of the fighting world" will help Stein, Kaya wonders who he means. Gintoki figures that he means [[Wrestling/BrockLesnar Brock [Censored]]] or [[Creator/RondaRousey [Censored] Rousey]]. Shinpachi then yells at them, saying that that was the previous collab and that "[[Wrestling/{{WWE}} the wrestling people]]" will want to get paid more.
* Elizabeth is a playable unit... who fights by copying other fighters' moves, to the point of dressing up as them, including [[WholesomeCrossdresser Mai]], Omega Rugal and ''Orochi''. The main enemies in the crossover are also fake versions of Elizabeth, including the Terry ("Terizabeth"), Mai ("Maizabeth") and Mr. Big ("Mr. Zabeth") versions. In the storyline, Kasuya refers to Elizabeth as "Neo Elizabeth" as a result, despite Kagura pointing out that Elizabeth looks exactly the same.
