** Which becomes more fun in context. The Race Law required proof that none of your parents and grandparents had any Jewish ancestry, but Hitler's father never met his own, so the Führer himself had no way to prove all of his grandparents were of Aryan descent.

* Right after Günsche announces that Hitler is dead, everyone immediately lights up a cigarette. This actually happened, too. Hitler hated smoking and ran very aggressive campaigns to curb it. Once he was confirmed to be dead, everyone in the bunker finally felt it was safe enough to smoke.

* In the extended cut, General Vasily Chuikov is speaking with some war correspondents, who are in uniform, about the battle when suddenly he receives word that the German delegation has arrived to negotiate. Chuikov goes into a panic because all his generals are at the front, so he hastily awards medals and "promotes" the correspondents to pretend that they're his staff. He also shoves composer Matvey Blanter, who's ''not'' in uniform, into the wardrobe and tells him to be quiet. This actually happened in real life, though Blanter also ''fell out'' during the negotiations with Krebs.

** When Krebs announces that Hitler has killed himself, the Russians stare at him in surprise for several seconds before Chuikov replies [[BlatantLies "We were aware of that."]] Krebs' look of disbelief at this obvious lie makes it even more hilarious.

* In the extended cut, Eva asks Hitler to buy her the figure in the garden once the battle is over. Hitler replies that he has no idea who owns it and if it's state property, then it can't be used in a private garden. She says that after he beats the Russians, he can make whatever changes to the law he wants. This leads to the only time in which Hitler actually smiles as he describes this as "women's logic."

* While Magda Goebbels is writing her letter to her son, we see Linge and Günsche burning documents outside the bunker entrance when Hitler joins them. * During a solemn dinner, Helmut Goebbels is excitedly chatting with Traudl about how he likes "[[ChildrenAreInnocent the sound of thunder]]" outside the bunker, since [[DramaticIrony nothing can hurt them inside it.]] Right at that moment, we hear the sound of Hitler shooting himself, and then with perfect comic timing, he says [[MoodWhiplash this line:]]
