** Or there's the part earlier where Batman is talking to Lois about Superman's strange behavior. She [[{{Flashback}} Flashes Back]] to Supes having a barbecue on the beach with Lana Lang, telling Lois "It serves you right Lois, after all those love schemes you tried to get me to marry you!" What really sells the moment is when we cut back to the present and Lois quickly says [[BlatantLies "I have no idea what he was talking about."]]

* In "Menace of the Conqueror Caveman", Booster Gold recognizes a photo of the millennia-old conqueror and supervillian Kru'll and claims that they had some fights in the 25th century, before Booster went back in time. [[RetiredMonster A flashback shows Kru'll, apparently retired from villainy]], minding his own business in the museum where Booster works as a janitor, with the two bumping into each other and spilling Kru'll's coffee because Booster is distracted talking on his phone. Kru'll is annoyed, but doesn't attack Booster even after recognizing him as a superhero whom he fought with in the 21st century.

* When asked in the first episode how the Gibbel people know him, Batman brings up how the Scarab must have found a new host after the former host was killed, since it becomes obvious to Bats that the previous host is dead. Jaime is visibly unnerved, so Bats quickly changes the word to retired. Similarly, Batman is always referred to by the Gibbils as Jaime's sidekick, so he takes the role of HyperCompetentSidekick for the episode when it becomes obvious that the Gibbils will only take orders from Jaime.
** After Batman plays a big role in saving the Gibbels, they finally build a statue of him...that's only about 1/4th of the size of Blue Beetle's statue.

He settles for pulling out ''[[{{Hammerspace}} a bazooka]]'' and firing it at the two Batmen.
