* Discord's ComplexityAddiction to use the TerribleTrio feels very in-character given Discord's niche as a Troll, which in his villainous days was often lathered heavily with TheBully and a lot of YankTheDogsChain. All three are in play with his handling of Tirek, Chrysalis and Cozy Glow (dupes them into a villainous scheme as Grogar, uses the identity to bully and intimidate them for lulz, all purely for a plan that is doomed to fail on them), just they make [[AssholeVictim far less sympathetic victims than the mane ponies]]. Given how often Discord has struggled with his old vices and got berated for it, he thought he could maybe get away with them on pawns that people are ''far'' [[PayEvilUntoEvil less likely to condone him for picking on]].
