* Even though she was a horrible person, [[DeathOfPersonality it can be argued that the original adult Jenna was erased by being possessed by her 13-year-old version.]]

** Well in that timeline he still ends up marrying Wendy, and in the end he only marries Jenna after they've both properly grown up together.

**Not really, because for one Matt has no idea. As far as he knows Jenna just shows up back in his life and his childhood crush is rekindled. Two, Jenna has the mind of a 13 year old, but her transformation to an adult seems more legit since it was a time skip and events between 13 and 30 happened; she just doesn't remember. I mean compared to another age-up movie, where the age-up is an overnight transformation where the main characters friends all stay kids and main character changes back in front of love intrest...this is not nearly as creepy. I don't know I mean the fact Jenna had a life leading up to the time-skip takes away a lot of the creepiness to me, mind of a 13 year old or not, it felt more like someone suddenly having to learn to be an adult rather than a child pretending to be. Jenna herself at first thinks its a dream then pretty much seems to accept she's an adult now and time will move foreward from now on.

** Jenna may live in their building, but while we as the audience know that she's not a dangerous individual, due to the lack of set up leading up to that scene, it's very bizarre on many levels. Are we supposed to assume that Becky invited her friends to a sleepover, and decided they would go and visit Jenna in her apartment? We'll never know.

** Becky lives in Jenna's building, and presumably the other girls do too or close enough. So they're only going to a slumber party a couple of floors up or down from their homes. Jenna is not a "strange adult"; she lives in their building.

* The fact the parents of a bunch on thirteen-year-old girls were totally fine with letting them have a sleepover at a strange adults house. Yes we know that shes completely harmless and is in fact mentally the same age... but the parents wouldn't. Did they give their parents the impression she was their age? Did they think Jenna's "parents" were supervising? Did any of them bother to check things out at all?

* Look closely at the face mask adult Jenna is wearing in her very first scene. The pattern is identical to the pattern of the scarf Tom Tom tied over her eyes. It always seemed to me like that this could be a subtle hint that its all just a dream happening in 13-year-old Jenna's head.

* Future Jenna before the switch. Just the fact that someone as sweet, loving and all around adorkable as Jenna could turn into an alpha bitch capable capable of cutting her best friend and parents out her life, cheating on her perfectly sweet boyfriend with a married man and screwing over the same magazine she grew up reading

* More like fridge squick but the romance between the two leads. It's easy to gloss over because of the natural chemistry between the two (adult) actors and the fact it never goes further than a kiss... but Jenna only looks like an adult. Mentally shes a 13 year old girl. Which Jennifer Garner plays very convincingly. So basically the main plot of the movie is a grown man falling back in love with the teenage girl he had a crush on... because she is in fact that same teenage girl he had a crush. Seems kinda creepy now doesn't it?
