Ben and the Cocktail hypthesis

to:

* I like to think Ben was somehow involved in anti-HIV "cocktail" therapy. Henry sees Ben at his wedding in 1994, historically before the very rapid development of "cocktail" therapy.

** Or, this may have been the start of Ingrid's despair over ever winning Henry back — Alba says she's looking for her daddy, not her parents, and she basically ignores Ingrid while sneaking in a kiss on her daddy's cheek. Ingrid clearly ''had'' figured out Alba must be Henry's child, and she's very quiet after this encounter. She likely could see how Alba was with Henry, how she ''wasn't'' with Ingrid, and do the math.

* After all his worries that "If anything happens to my feet, might as well shoot me," when Henry finally dies he's shot the instant he arrives, before he'd have been able to get anywhere even if he ''was'' still able to run full speed.

* Sort of Fridge Sadness…Henry tends to be pulled to places where significant things happened to him, like the car accident. Henry appearing in the meadow seems like it's because that's where Clare is, his future wife. But in the end, it turns out that Meadow is where Henry ''dies''. Is that the real reason Henry kept appearing there? Was the whole romance just an accident, rather than something that was meant to be, because Clare as a child just happened to hang out in the place Henry was fated to die??

** The fetus being left seem highly unlikely unless the child was being rejected and would therefore miscarry anyway. But if it ''does work on fetuses, what about other things in the body, like [[BlessedWithSuck cancerous tumors]]?

* Why doesn't Ingrid get over Henry and always desperately hoped to marry him? It is revealed that Alba time-traveled to them when they still were a couple. While Henry in his twenties is totally oblivious who that weird, bare-footed kid who follows him around is, Ingrid is implied to figure it out. She must assume Alba is ''her'' and Henry's daughter in the future.

* All the miscarriages that Clare endures are heartbreaking and horrifying enough, now think about what would happen if Alba ever gets pregnant. She not only might have the same issue of the fetuses time travelling away from her, but quite possibly of she ''herself'' time travelling away from her ''fetuses'' meaning one moment you could be looking at Alba then suddenly just a bundle of clothing and... something else.
