** Now that IRIS has been explained away as a media conglomerate, its symbol's presence in the mod takes on a much different meaning. After all, Legion wanted to entertain, with the world's eyes gazed upon him. What better source of help to achieve his goal than a company who already knows how to gain people's attention?

** Another twist on it; you're letting Legion have ''exactly'' what he wants. He always wanted the spotlight all to himself, and now he has it... But his audience consists of exactly one entity, the only one who he fears, and one that finds him completely unremarkable.

* The famous [[ArcSymbol eye symbol]] seen in mods like ''VideoGame/TheTrickyMod'' and ''VideoGame/VsHexMod'' shows up here, but the latter mod’s Weekend update reveals that it is the symbol of a media conglomerate from the depths of the Underworld called IRIS Co. Ltd, which in the context of this mod, doesn’t really make sense. However, consider that this mod was released before ''Vs Hex Mod'' has been updated to give us this information. Before that update, a popular {{Fanon}} relating to the symbol is that it’s related to the Greater Good from ''VideoGame/VsWhitty'', a foundation based on the goal of capturing non-humans. With this in mind, it makes sense that the Troll Containment Foundation would have IRIS/The Greater Good’s symbol on the letter to Agent BLUEBALLS; they're likely a part of the Greater Good that focuses on these "troll individuals".

* The Trollges Legion uses to try and break Boyfriend go in order of how much they mean to him; Stairway (a cataclysmic Trollge Boyfriend knows nearly nothing about, other than that he's dangerous), JJ (a WellIntentionedExtremist that Boyfriend has likely read the file on), Smiler (a Trollge Boyfriend just met, but still sympathizes with), Jhenkins (a Trollge Boyfriend has developed a good friendship with), Derpy (a fellow agent that suffered the infection from Stairway), and finally [[spoiler:his beloved Girlfriend, the one that finally gets to him.]]

* Why is the only way to win against Legion to give up? Simple - by singing with him, you are giving him attention, which is exactly what he wants. At the end of the day, Legion is a troll, and trolls thrive off of attention. The only way to "win" is to simply not engage - to give up.
** It also brings to attention the SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome; Boyfriend's singing doesn't do much on its own. Against the other Trollges Legion sends after him, Boyfriend simply singing alongside them proves that they aren't effective at the job, forcing Legion to find another foe. In "Athazagoraphobia", meanwhile, Boyfriend can sing his heart out, but Legion isn't going to give up until he has Boyfriend's soul.
* Why is "Technophobia" so much harder than the rest of Smiler's songs, even when he unleashes his real power in "Incident"? Because in "Technophobia", Legion is controlling Smiler's corpse, meaning he's no longer held back by his [[TokenGoodTeammate sympathetic]] qualities.
* James Jacob, aka The Happy Clown, is the only Trollge to be properly clothed, as WordOfGod has confirmed that the Trollges' black bodies are bare skin. This could be because, unlike the others, James does everything he does to protect ''[[ChildrenAreInnocent children]]''.
* "Philophobia" being called the tutorial seems like an ArtifactTitle, as it's significantly harder than one would expect from a tutorial. However, its charting does still teach the player one important piece of advice - don't trust the enemy side's chart to help you, as almost none of the songs have the Trollges sing the same patterns Boyfriend does.
