* As [[https://www.gateworld.net/atlantis/s3/progeny/ GateWorld]] notes in their page for this episode, if the Asurans are indeed cousins to the ''SG-1'' Replicators, then it finally answers a pair of longstanding questions related to the Replicator corner of the ''SG-1'' mythos:
** First, how were the Bugs able to create Human Form Replicators just by studying Reese's body? The Bugs were composed of Blocks, not Nanites. But if they were originally descended from nanites, then it was likely already part of their programming and they reclaimed it.
** Second, it was quite convenient at the time that O'Neill found a weapon in the Ancient Repository back in "New Order" that was built specifically to disrupt nanite bonds. Now, however, it's justified: the Ancients had had to develop this technology originally when they dealt with the Asurans the first time around.
