*When Mary sabotaged Vivian, she didn't just stop her from competing in the Olympics qualifier. She ruined years of experience and hard work Vivian put in to become a master equestrian. Vivian is also the child of a wealthy man and a celebrity, and if word spreads around, Mary and the Waverly's reputation will be irrevocably damaged. We don't know what punishment Reynold has in store for her, but whatever it is definitely isn't light.

!!FridgeBrilliance
*Considering that she's so sick she can't ''go outside'', i's possible that part of George's debt is derived from medical costs for Sarah's treatment.
*Why is Arthur so good with little kids like Lynn? Because he has a little brother, who's antics he's used to minding.
*Why does Isabelle take George's side against her brother? Because she understands what he's going through. Like how George lost his first wife Frances, Isabelle also lost her husband and knows the pain of his heartbreak. She herself may also be searching for a SecondLove, like George with Misuzu.
*Duke Warbawn's opposition to a mixed race member of the Russell family makes sense when you consider that he uses his children as pawns (such as George) to bring his family more prestige. Since British aristocrats are usually interested in preserving their heritage, they may not consider Lynn a desirable candidate for marriage, unlike George or Sarah.
*Madeleine might have specifically scouted George as a potential prospect because she hopes his noble title will go to her children. She knows the Duke doesn't acknowledge Lynn, and Sarah is too ill to produce progeny, so Thomas and Mary get the benefit of carrying on their family name as well as keeping the familial wealth.
**In the manga this is at least true, as she has the child with George named Charles that she dubs the "future Viscount".
*Madeleine's choice to send Sarah away is pragmatic when you consider that Madeleine derives her authority in the Marble Mansion from the Duke's orders and Sarah is his favourite grandchild. She wants to eliminate competition for his favour and gain more power.
*Given Sarah's closeness to her grandfather, it's likely he could have influenced her negative views on Lynn.

*Sarah's reluctance to become close to Lynn could be because she believes she's close to death because of her illness. Especially as in the manga, she asks Arthur to take care of Lynn "in case anything happens to her".
