* Sid of all the villains in the show is probably the most villainous of the [[spoiler: Energy Riders]] and the one you are supposed to hate. [[spoiler: The Energy Riders also have a design quirk that their armor only has one shoulder pad and his is the only one of the four whose shoulder pad is on the left side]], which would mirror the old superstition of [[ASinisterClue left handed people being evil]].

* The Overlords have traits from both the Armored Riders and the Energy Riders, namely the desires of the former but the burdens of the latter. Their downfall also mirrors the Energy Riders. It would make sense considering their role as a foil.

** Deemushu has Kaito's desire to be the strongest there is, but Sid's burden of being ordered around by a benevolent ruler. [[spoiler:After he breaks off of Roshuo's leash by going into Zawame, like how Sid broke off of Ryoma's leash by going into Helheim, both got killed by a powerful being in white.]]

** Redyue has Mitsuzane's desire to be a master manipulator, but Ryoma's burden of having everyone in the way of the one thing he wishes to have. [[spoiler:His pursuit for the Golden Fruit turned out to be in vain and in the middle of his VillainousBreakdown was killed by someone who had just awakened as an Overlord, much like what happened with Ryoma]].

* A small, slight piece of Fridge Horror is Mitsuzane's WhoYouAreInTheDark moment against Jam, [[spoiler:who is really Kougane possessing a girl]]. If he were to shoot her out of her suit, she would die. Mitsuzane gives up and detransforms, but given what he was ''before'' (especially since he did something similar), it would be unnerving if this happened ''before'' [[spoiler:he became TheAtoner]].

* A small, slight piece of Fridge Horror is Mitsuzane's WhoYouAreInTheDark moment against Jam, [[spoiler:who is really Kougane possessing a girl]]. If he were to shoot her out of her suit, she would die. Mitsuzane gives up and detransforms, but given what he was ''before'', it would be unnerving if this happened ''before'' [[spoiler:he became TheAtoner]].

** Yggdrasil was constrained by time, not lack of resources. [[spoiler: They estimated that it would take about 10 years for Helheim to fully consume the Earth, and that they could produce approximately one billion drivers in that time. Assuming that things went as planned, they could continue making them after that point, it's just that that would be the number of them available once things went to hell(heim.)]]

** 33-Finale: Mid Life Crisis. Though in this case, the crisis is an all-out war.

** The prototype Sengoku Drivers given to the Beat Riders and Takatora are the only ones that lock to the first user. The mass-produced Drivers used by the Kurokage Troopers and, presumably, [[spoiler: Project Ark]], can be used by multiple people. [[spoiler: The billion people rescued (spared?) by Project Ark are going to start dying, too, of old age if not the dangers of the forest. So the kids would wear Drivers salvaged from dead people. Not to mention that they'd probably make more Drivers as time goes on, especially now that they're under no rush (which is why they had to do Project Ark in the first place.)]]

* Project Ark [[spoiler: would have allowed one billion humans to survive, because that's how many Sengoku Drivers they could create with their supply of precious metal, right? But one day, those people would have to have kids. How would they survive?]]

* It's notable that Ryoma doesn't have his BerserkButton pressed when Kouta uses a Jinba form, yet when he uses Kachidoki for the first time, he flips out. There is a good idea why he doesn't flip out with the former. The Genesis Core used for those forms were an invention of his, and so he doesn't mind beyond wanting to figure out who's smart enough to steal behind his back.

* Now that we know [[spoiler:Mai is the Woman of Beginnings, and that she went back in time to speak with Kouta, Kaito and Mitcchy, we know that she basically screwed everyone over right from episode 1. However, it goes even deeper than that. Due to Sagara knowing that Mai comes from the future(in the episode Kachidoki Arms makes it debut), Mai basically confirms Sagara's suspicions on who the major players are, as well as who to give power to. Now armed with this knowledge, proceeds to manipulate events from the side lines, which results into Mai receiving the Forbidden Fruit, and right up to sending her back in time(he goads her into accepting the Fruit's power, and even going back in time, which she plays right into) Sagara basically played the time loop to his advantage, fulfilling the bible verse "cunning as snakes but as innocent as doves".]]

** [[AlternateCharacterInterpretation It could also explain]] why he was horrified with Hakaider. Someone managed to make something that could easily be the next stage of human evolution, and it wasn't him.

** Second, on the Kiwami Lockseed there is an Orange in the center surrounded by the three fruits representing the other three Main Riders as well as three fruit representing the three lockseeds Kouta got after Orange from those three Riders, and the Rider Fruits and Lockseed Fruits are side by side their appropriate counterpart(Banana and Pine, Budou and Strawberry, Melon and Suika), reflecting Kouta trying to unify the riders but their different motives making that difficult at any given time.

** Third, the fact that once the lockseed is open its says Fruit Basket. Yes it does refer to Kouta having access to the other Arms Weapons but it also reflects Kouta's desire to protect the old world instead of using the Fruit of Knowledge's power to create a world based on his own ideals. Your body will be malnourished and you could die if you only eat one type of fruit all the time, just like one person cannot make all the decisions for everyone else and it shows with what happened to Roshuo's world; it became a world of only his beliefs and look where that got him and his people. Given the biblical references and subtle suggestion that all the pantheon we know of were world taken over by Helheim, this one was probably a subtle stab at monotheism.

* Kouta's helmet is based of Date Masamune, there are tons of reference to Norse Mythology. Kouta is Odin.
