* As one watcher pointed out, the show’s legendary PoorCommunicationKills actually makes sense. Half of the cast are in the IneffectualLoner or IWorkAlone camp, while the other half are in the ManipulativeBastard camp. They’re the type of people who WOULDN’T talk to others about their problems.

* Kusaka's reappearance in Paradise Regained sees him actively protecting the Orphnochs despite his bigotry against them seems to be out of character, until the revelation that he's just one of the many units of Kusaka's android copies, the template having [[DeadAllAlong died]] way back in the original series. That Kusaka android was assigned to be Smart Brain's sleeper agent, which overall is a genius move by the company since his death wasn't made public knowledge except to them, and creating an elderly version of himself would add the illusion that he had survived and went into hiding for a very long time. The only reason why they programmed him into protecting the Orphnochs was that they don't have full knowledge of Kusaka's actual nature as a wild card to Takumi and co., not realizing that his opposition against them stems from his bigotry towards these monsters and not a hatred against THE company itself as a whole.

* Early on in the series, Takumi does not seem to be phased, or surprised by, the existence of Orphnochs. At first, it seems it's just because of his "I don't care" attitude, but later it makes more sense--[[spoiler:since he ''is'' an Orphnoch himself, it's only natural that he wouldn't br surprised]].

* Keitaro sneezes in one of the early episodes, and claims that it's his allergy to dirt. Every other time he sneezes, it's in the presence of an Orphenoch--and it seems ''that's'' what he's allergic to. Now, when he sneezed for that first time, the only people nearby were Mari and Takumi [[spoiler:...the latter of whom is later revealed to be an Orphenoch]].

* A superhero who transforms using a high-tech cellular phone has a tragic flaw in an [[PoorCommunicationKills inability to communicate.]]
** Not only that, but one of the romantic relationships started off with two people simply texting each other on cellphones and how one's StartOfDarkness began with them falling to their death while they're on their cellphone.

** Near the end, a song called "Eyes Glazing Over" was used as the ending song. If translated, one of the lines is "Don't ignore me, listen." As in "don't ignore me and listen to what I have to say", which makes sense when, by the end, everyone starts to understand better.
