* I didn't notice this until the third or fourth time I'd watched the film. After the play, Mrs. Snow observes that the ticking crocodile represents time and the inevitability of death. When Sylvia is shown walking into Never Land (a metaphor for her death), the crocodile is there and she walks toward it. In other words, she's accepted her fate.
