In their 22nd short, Film/TheThreeStooges are three jailbirds who decide to break out once they get a letter from their mother. She tells them their father has run out on her, having struck it rich from oil wells, to marry a young blonde. Determined to bring him back, after escaping, they confront their dad (who looks and acts similar to Curly, except with muttonchops), only for him to give them some money and kick them out to ready themselves for his wedding. After some shenanigans, the conniving young blonde mistakes Curly for his father (who had promised to shave off said muttonchops) and drags them to her apartment for the wedding. The trio soon discover that the blonde and her partners want to kill the groom after the wedding to get their hands on his money. Main/HilarityEnsues as Curly and his father run back and forth through the building, confusing their assailants. Their father decides to run for the police, while the Stooges are sent falling off a balcony. Fortunately, an awning cushions their fall, and they then land atop their father, whom they quickly drag back to mama.
This short was remade in 1953 as ''Up in Daisy's Penthouse''.
