Michael returns the favor by pulling a gun on the sergeant and then putting on the sergeant's uniform before driving away. This gets him past a checkpoint at a ferry.
* DrivenToSuicide: Steinz receives word that his wife and children are dead, presumably killed in an Allied bombing raid. After finding this out, he helps Michael to escape, and then he kills himself.
