Dees visits the grave of one of the vampire's latest victims at night time, then tries to make a more exciting picture by putting a bunch of dead flowers in front of the tombstone, kicking it so it's at an angle, and finally cutting open his finger to smear a bit of blood on it -- which causes a him to see a vision of the vampire in the air.
