Could Have Avoided This Plot is when characters acknowledge that the plot could've been avoided in-universe. Also, the plot definitely could not have been avoided, since Dar-Benn's real goal was getting revenge on Carol.

* CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot: Had Dar-Benn actually went to the planets she invaded on genuine goodwill missions, instead of just invading and stealing their natural resources, it is very possible they would've willingly found a solution to the Kree's crisis.
** [[spoiler:Carol could also apparently have reignited Hala's sun at any time.]]

* GrandFinale: An unintended instance. Due to the commercial failure of ''The Marvels'', it's been [[https://www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2024/03/14/mcu-report-no-eternals-2-captain-marvel-3-ant-man-4-as-disney-gets-risk-averse/?sh=77da5b5f68d6 confirmed]] Disney has axed any plans for a ''Captain Marvel 3''. So, this is now the de facto finale for Carol's solo films within the MCU (though it's unclear where or if Carol will reappear in the franchise down the road).

* MyGreatestFailure: [[spoiler:After Carol destroys the Supreme Intelligence, inadvertently causing the Kree Civil War, and leaving Hala a dying planet, she feels horrible. The reason she hasn't returned to Earth in so long is because she trying to help other planets across the cosmos to make for what did to Hala.]]

Put On A Bus does not simply mean "a character doesn't appear in this movie"

* PutOnABus: Yon-Rogg, as Creator/JudeLaw doesn't return and it's unclear what's become of the character in the decades since the first film.
