* CanadaEh: While the setting is never explicitly discussed by the characters, the CN Tower, Kensington Market, and various other Toronto landmarks are shown throughout the film. Lingo-savvy viewers will note that the local barfly in the arm-wrestling scene uses the Canadian term "chocolate bars" instead of the American "candy bars", and Veronica suggests she and Seth go on a "holiday" rather than "vacation" in an earlier scene. (Amusingly, the original 1958 film was set in Canada too, specifically in Montreal.)
