Badass Mustache and Badass Beard were merged into Manly Facial Hair. Examples that don't fit or are zero-context are removed. Having facial hair is not enough to qualify. To qualify for Manly Facial Hair, the facial hair must be associated with manliness in some way. Please read the trope description before re-adding to make sure the example qualifies.

* BadassMoustache: On Mike, probably the most magnificient piece of facial hair on Michael Wong.

''The Blood Rules'' is a 2000 action-crime film directed by Marco Mak, starring Creator/MichaelWong, Suki Kwan, and Lam Suet.

A trio of professional robbers, led by mercenary Mike (Michael Wong), their arms supplier Shoot (Suet) and Mike's longtime partner Jean (Suki) wants to get out after performing a robbery for their employer, Uncle Lam. However Uncle Lam convinced them to take on one last job, robbing a rival triad leader of his diamonds. In the process, the trio discovers someone in their ranks wants them dead.

----
!!The Blood Rules have No Rules:

* AllYourBaseAreBelongToUs: Thanks to being double-crossed, halfway through the film Mike, Jean and Shoot have their hideout being attacked by SWAT officers and they have to shoot their way out.
* AntiHero: The main characters of the film we're ''supposed'' to root for are professional robbers and mob enforcers who doesn't hesitate to kill if necessary. They also count as a VillainProtagonist trio.
* BadassCrew: Mike, Jean and Shoot are a gang of robbers and killers who forms a PowerTrio in the film.
* BadassMoustache: On Mike, probably the most magnificient piece of facial hair on Michael Wong.
* BulletproofVest: Mike puts on one of these while trying to kill Uncle Lam for the betrayal. He managed to kill off several of Lam's bodyguards, but unfortunately for Mike, Lam is ina bulletproof car.
* DeliciousDistraction: Ultimately, what took down BigBad Uncle Lam, is this: [[spoiler: after escaping from Mike and gloating away the whole time, a safe distance away Lam suddenly orders his driver to stop, spotting a stall selling fried ''tofu'' - the nostalgic food of his youth - in a roadside stall. Stepping out of his vehicle to place an order, the ''tofu'' vendor then raises his head, revealing himself to be Shoot, the last member of Mike's crew still alive, at which point Shoot kills Uncle Lam on the spot]].
* ExplodingFishTanks: The shootout halfway in the film takes place the gang's hideout, disguised as an aquarium supply shop complete with several glass tanks of goldfishes. Needless to say, a few of these gets shot to bits as Mike and his crew exchange crossfire with the invading SWAT officers. In fact, during the film's ''opening'' credits, audiences get to see a CGI-goldfish getting ripped to shreds by a stray bullet.
* FatBastard: Uncle Lam, the boss and kingpin who employs Mike and his crew, only to double-cross all of them.
* GiantMook: During the botched attempt to assasinate Uncle Lam, after dealing with his bodyguards, Mike have to fight two Australian wrestlers, hulking bodyguards specially hired by Uncle Lam just to deal with Mike. Killing one and running out of bullets, Mike have to do battle with the second, and he eventually executes the second with a NeckSnap.
* GunsAkimbo: Mike during the shootout against SWAT officers, notably when he takes down five of them while dropping down from a vent above his unsuspecting targets.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler: At the end of the hideout raid, Jean, who is still injured from a stray gunshot, decide to seal all exits while she's still in the hideout, and
* KarmaHoudiniWarranty: Uncle Lam seems to have gotten away with him framing Mike and his crew, but [[spoiler: literally 10 seconds before the credits, he gets shot by Shoot]].
* OneLastJob: The premise of the movie, Mike's crew being given one last assignment before they leave the mob. But too bad it's a case of ResignationsNotAccepted.
* SeanConneryIsAboutToShootYou: As seen in the above poster. AllOfThem.
*StepIntoTheBlindingFight: The Blinding Shootout. Halfway through the film, there is a fierce shootout between Mike, Jean and Shoot against several mobsters after them in a dark alley. The PowerTrio can barely see anything in the darkness, relying on hearing instead.
* WeHaveToGetTheBulletOut: Played straight during the scene when Jean gets shot by a stray shot, complete with a moment of her biting on a piece of cloth as Shoot uses a pair of tweezers to dig out the bullet.
