* AgeGapRomance: There's clearly a romance going on between Shirley and Michael; he never samples the favors of any of the other girls. At the end he begs her to bring their relationship out in the open, but she refuses him, for obvious reasons.

Added DiffLines:

''The Babysitters'' is a 2007 film directed by David Ross.

Shirley (Creator/KatherineWaterston) is a high-school senior in a nameless suburban town. She goes out babysitting for a neighbor family, and the dad, Michael (Creator/JohnLeguizamo) gives her a ride home one night. They get along well...too well, as it happens. The next time Shirley babysits she winds up sharing a passionate kiss with Michael. He pays her some extra money. The next babysitting night after that, they have sex, and he pays her some more money.

Shirley is inspired. She starts recruiting her friends and soon is running a prostitution ring in which teenaged girls are bonking older men and raking in bags of money. Shirley continues to see Michael, who is stuck in a frigid marriage with his wife Gail (Creator/CynthiaNixon). Problems arise when Shirley's friend Brenda decides to quit hooking, and when Brenda's stepsister Nadine starts stealing Shirley's business.

Creator/AlexandraDaddario plays Barbara, one of Shirley's stable of prostitutes.
