The sequel to ''Film/SilentHill'', released in 2012 in 3D. Written and directed by Michael J. Bassett (''Film/SolomonKane''), it is influenced by the [[VideoGame/SilentHill3 third game in the series]].

** It is [[SilentHillOrigins Travis Grady]] who picks up Heather and Vincent, and he comments he hasn't been this way in a long time.

* ABoyAndHisX: Alessa and Pyramid Head.

* AdaptationExpansion: In ''Silent Hill 3'' the mannequin room is a small storage space with a noteworthy jump scare. ''Revelation'' expands it into a vast labyrinth ruled by a mannequin boss.

* AdaptationInducedPlotHole: ''Revelation'' attempts to be more faithful to its [[VideoGame/SilentHill3 respective game]], but in doing so it also contradicts [[http://silenthill.wikia.com/wiki/Silent_Hill:_Revelation#Continuity_errors.2FRetcons virtually the entire first film]], which this is supposed to be a sequel to.

That's three blatant hooks, so Basset definitely had a sequel in mind, although thanks to the panning of this film it may not happen.
