''Husbands Beware'' is the 167th short subject starring American slapstick comedy team Film/TheThreeStooges, released January 5, 1956.

Moe and Larry, thanks to Shemp's matchmaking, marry his overweight sisters. However, to their horror, the women are a pair of battle axes that quickly take over Moe and Larry's house and kick them out. Moe and Larry vow revenge against Shemp for hooking them up with the two women.

Later, while Shemp is teaching a vocal lesson, Moe runs in with big news; Shemp's uncle has just passed away, and in his will has left $500,000 to Shemp, provided he's married or gets married within 48 hours of the reading of the will. This results in a stampede of former girlfriends wanting to marry Shemp for his money. Despite all the chaos, Shemp does successfully get married before the deadline, but that's when Moe and Larry reveal that his uncle is still alive, there was no will, and this was just their revenge plot. The furious Shemp grabs a gun and shoots at Moe and Larry as they flee.

!!Tropes:
* GoldDigger: A lot of Shemp's old girlfriends tried to marry him once they found out he stood to inherit $500,000. This news was likely leaked by Moe and Larry as part of their revenge plot.
* LethalChef: The Stooges' efforts at cooking fail spectacularly.
* OnOneCondition: The conditions of the "will" required that Shemp be married to collect the $500,000 left to him.
* RaceAgainstTheClock: Shemp had to either be married or get married within 48 hours of the reading of the "will" to collect the "inheritance."
* StockFootage: The second half of this short is mostly made up of reused Footage from ''[[Recap/TheThreeStoogesBridelessGroom Brideless Groom]],'' with some of the scenes cut out or shortened to fit.
* TheOtherDarrin: Dee Green was unavailable to reprise her role as Fanny Dinkelmeyer (the woman Shemp ultimately marries), so they used a double for the new footage shot during the wedding scene.
