* SuperPersistentPredator: Sets up a major BrickJoke: early in the film, Gus reads a pamphlet on Florida fishing that warns about [[NeverSmileAtACrocodile angering alligators]] because legend says that they are this. Then they have to fight an alligator to get Massey's loot in the third act, but that seems to be that. The final joke of the film is the reveal that the alligator followed them all the way to New Jersey and is about to attack them when the film cuts to credits.
