'''Godzilla MMD''' are a series of short films starting with Godzilla Earth from [[Anime/GodzillaPlanetOfTheMonsters the]] [[Anime/GodzillaCityOnTheEdgeOfBattle anime]] [[Anime/GodzillaPlanetEater trilogy]] (said trilogy written by Creator/GenUrobuchi) battling enemies that has appeared throughout the franchise, but eventually branching out into other kaiju.

* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler:Once Godzilla Earth is empowered by Mothra, Otaru Ghidorah spends its remaining time in a state of panic. Ghidorah tries to defeat Godzilla one last time in what amounts to a RageQuit (Ghidorah choosing to try and kill Godzilla one last time rather than escape), but that only backfires and Ghidorah is destroyed all the while screaming in agony.]]

* EvilIsBigger: King/Otaru Ghidorah is at least twice the size of Godzilla Earth, putting him in the 600 meter range.

* MirroredConfrontationShot: One happens between Godzilla and Ghidorah during their fight as they prepare to fight. [[spoiler:It also happens with Ghidorah and Mothra when she appears to help Godzilla Earth.]]

** Gigan gets these whenever Godzilla bests him, [[spoiler:especially when he is about to be killed by his Atomic Breath]].

* SuperPoweredCosmicTemperTantrum: [[spoiler: When the newly empowered Godzilla trounces him, Otaru Ghidorah flees to the moon to attempt a ColonyDrop, no longer caring about consuming Earth, just making sure Godzilla loses.]]

** Much like it canonically did to Godzilla's Atomic Breath, [[spoiler:Mothra's barrier manages negate and deflect Ghidorah's Gravity Beams until Mothra's spiritual manifestation disperses and empowers Godzilla. Godzilla then proceeds to do this to Ghidorah's Gravity Beams, absorbing them and sending them right back.]]

* RageQuit: [[spoiler:When King Ghidorah starts to lose to a Mothra empowered up Godzilla, he warps to space and attempts to [[ColonyDrop drop the moon]] on Godzilla Earth and Earth. Notably, he's so enraged at this point he passes up the chance to escape to make one last attempt on Godzilla.]]
* RealityWarper: [[spoiler:Otaru Ghidorah uses this most effectively against Godzilla Earth. Most prominent example is when Ghidorah summons another Godzilla Earth (Either a time displaced version of the kaiju or an illusion) to fire an atomic breath right at Godzilla Earth's back.]]

** King Ghidorah is this as well, [[spoiler:spending most of his fight with Earth clearly toying with him and doesn't even use his more reality bending powers until ''after'' he's thoroughly pounded Godzilla with just his beams and physical strength. In the end he reveals he's powerful enough to ''push the moon out of orbit''.]]

** This version of Final Wars Gigan is able to display his skills and abilities far more than what the film shows. [[spoiler:He engages Godzilla in hand-to-hand combat, even making the latter bleed on several occasions.]]

** Gigan's brief skirmish with the fighter jets is based on Rodan's from ''Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)''.
** Godzilla's engagement with the military ships are based on ''Film/Godzilla2014'' and ''Film/GodzillaVsKong''

* OhCrap: [[spoiler:Godzilla Earth has a progressively larger series of these as King Ghidorah begins overpowering him. The biggest one coming when he sees Ghidorah's gravity beam about to hit him [[EyeScream directly in the eye]].]]

** Final Wars Gigan is able to showcase his skills and abilities far more than what the film can show.

* BatmanGambit: [[spoiler:Godzilla taunts Gigan to charge at him, anticipating his dual chainsaws to get tangled with the grappling hooks he lost during the battle.]]

As of December 31st, 2021, the latest short has been released, a Shin Godzilla styled rampage starring a revamped Hedorah. It is [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebHWMNHBYtM here.]] And it is ''terrifying.''

** While TheStinger of the second film only shows King/Otaru Ghidorah for a brief moment, he's summoned in full and has his completed body present before Godzilla Earth, and Ghidorah ''towers over the Monster King.'' The actual movie shows him with far more powers than he ''ever'' used in the actual film, including a BeamSpam attack similar to Godzilla Earths, Gravity Beams, [[GravityMaster Gravity manipulation]] similar to Shin Ghidorah's, the ability to fire a massive ConvergingStreamWeapon from his wings, and [[spoiler:straight up [[RealityWarper time and reality bending powers]]. Also, after Godzilla is finally able to hurt him, unlike canon he takes a ''lot'' more effort to finally put down. His final attack is a ColonyDrop attempting to crush Godzilla with the ''moon''.]]
