The same cunning, super-smart woodland animals that forced Dan's predecessor to quit the project, though, set their sights on driving Dan crazy. At every turn, they aim to do bodily harm to him, embarrass him, and generally make him look like a crazy man. No one -- not Tammy or Tyler or local security professional Wilson (Toby Huss) -- believes him when he tells them the creatures of the forest have targeted him to drive Dan out of his mind.

* MisplacedRetribution: The animals are looking to punish Dan because he works for a company that's going to develop their forest into a huge suburban community. This is despite the fact that his boss Mr. Lyman is the one who's actually responsible for the project. The raccoon even witnesses while sneaking on the plane that Lyman is the one calling the shots and making demands of an extremely reluctant Dan... and yet Dan's the only one incurring all the animals' wrath.
* ProductPlacement: Almost every character owns an iPhone. Not only that but Tyler owns a Macbook and Tammy owns an iPod. It isn't just Apple that gets a shout-out, though, as characters are also shown using a Wii, nike merchandise, and a Panasonic T.V. Two of the construction workers also have droid phones and Dan puts Byrne Dairy milk in his cereal.

* TomatoSkunkStinkCure: Dan takes a bath full of tomato juice after being spared.
