The TV series was broadcasted from 1993 to 1998 with a total of 5 seasons. The third movie, simply called ''Flodder 3'', was released in 1995. The first movie shows the Flodders moving into Zonnedael. At the end of the movie, a retired colonel angrily destroys the Flodders' home with his tank. In [[Film/FlodderInAmerika the second movie]], the city council signs the Flodders up for an exchange program to have them send off to America for a year. The third movie focuses on the upcoming 25th anniversary of Zonnedael and the attempts of the inhabitants to get rid of the Flodders before the scheduled festivities. All attempts backfire however and in the end the entire neighborhood is destroyed except for the home of the Flodder family.

* GrandFinale: The third movie was supposed to be this, but the series continued for two more seasons.
* GratuitousNinja: A group of ninjas (Kees' boyfriend and his fellow students from a martial arts school) comes to the Flodders' aid in the third movie during a battle between the family and the police.

* LaughingMad: The bad guy in the third movie completely loses it when an attempt to destroy the Flodders and their party by crashing a tanker truck into their house instead causes the entire rest of the neighbourhood to burn down, including his own home. He bursts into manic laughter as he's watching his own fireworks go off.

* TheMovie: As the series is much more comedic, less grounded, and less overtly sexual than the first two movies, the third instalment feels more like an episode of the series than the first two do. Despite being made halfway through the show, one could even see it as a GrandFinale and last chronological entry, since it ends with the Flodders owning their new home and the rest of Zonnedael being burned down and all their neighbors leaving.

* ObfuscatingDisability: [[spoiler:GRANDDAD.]] In the third movie he's about to be run over by a truck when he suddenly jumps out of his wheelchair. [[note]]This may explain how he survived the oncoming train in the first movie.[[/note]]

* ThePeepingTom: Son Kees spies on the female shower room of the local tennis club in the third movie.

* SecretlyRich: In the third movie, Ma Flodder almost marries a hobo that she fell in love with. It turns out that he's actually the head of an incredibly wealthy family and he wanted to get away from his demanding heirs for once.

* WheelchairAntics: In the third movie, Toet and Henkie put an engine on Grandpa's wheelchair so he can leave the house without help. Unfortunately, it turns out to be a little too powerful.

* WomanScorned: In the third movie Daughter Kees runs into her karate teacher boyfriend making out with another girl at a party. She beats him up with the same moves that he taught her.
* WrongfulAccusationInsurance: In the third movie, the police show up to evict the Flodders from their home, bringing a riot team just in case, but the Flodders recruit all of their criminal friends and an entire karate school to fight back. The massive brawl is resolved when it turns out that the house will be auctioned next week and the Flodders do not have to leave at once since Sjakie is going to put in a bid on their behalf. Fair enough, but the cops don't even bother with any of the people who just assaulted two dozen police officers.

* ButtMonkey: Sjakie, despite his good intentions, is a klutz who is constantly abused by those around him. The second movie in particular makes it seem [[CosmicPlaything like the universe just has it out for him]]. He loses the Flodder family at the airport, then a traffic jam in New York City makes it take him the rest of the day to reach his local contact's downtown office. He arrives past closing time, forcing him to sleep in a brothel. After he's discussed the Flodders' disappearance with them the next day, he loses his glasses and gets his hands stuck in a storm drain before he's mugged. Every passerby ignores him until a homeless person helps him get out after about a day, but Sjakie is subsequently imprisoned after a riot breaks out in a food court. Finally, he's hit by a car and then mistaken for a gender reassigment patient at the hospital.

* GlobalIgnorance: Used twice in the second movie. First, a group of street muggers that try to rob the Flodder Family think "Holland" is one of the little towns named Holland somewhere in the US. Second, the president himself thinks Copenhagen is a Dutch city.

* MonumentalDamage: At the end of the second movie, Mother Flodder accidentally ignites a water tank that Son Kees had been filling with stolen gasoline, causing it to fly into the Statue of Liberty and destroy the head.

* MistakenForSpecialGuest: In the second movie, ''Flodder in Amerika'', upon arriving in America the Flodders are mistaken for a group of Russian doctors at the airport. They spend a day in the New York Plaza before the mix-up is revealed at a dinner party held in their name and they're unceremoniously thrown out.

* SequelGoesForeign: The second movie. It's even lampshaded in the title ("Flodder in Amerika").

* VomitIndiscretionShot: In the second movie, a patron at the strip club who spent the scene before munching on a fast food snack finds that the meal didn't agree with him, and he graphically throws up on the bathroom mirror. Johnny, who witnessed this, quips that he'll inform the kitchen.
