Read the In Name Only article. Nearly every example is about the adaptation's lack of resemblance to the source material. Almost all examples on the works' own pages are about their relationship with the source material. You have misunderstood the No Real Life Examples Please on this trope. It's not "only in-universe examples" but "no examples on real life organizations etc."

How is it not a real life example? It's talking about a film and a book that exist in real life. It's not like "In this movie, Conan writes a best-selling book that's adapted into a movie with a completely different plot."
