->''"Fire and wind come from the sky, from the gods of the sky. But Crom is your god. Crom, and he lives in the Earth. Once, giants lived in the Earth, Conan. And in the darkness of chaos, they fooled Crom, and they took from him the enigma of steel. Crom was angered; and the earth shook. And fire and wind struck down these giants - and they threw their bodies into the waters, but in their ''rage'', the gods forgot the secret of steel and left it on the battlefield. And we who found it - are just men. Not gods. Not giants. ''Just men''. The secret of steel has always carried with it a mystery... You must learn its ''riddle'', Conan. You must learn its ''discipline''. For no oneóno one in this world can you trust. Not men, not women, not beasts... ''This'' you can trust..."''

* BlasphemousBoast: Before the movie's climax battle, Conan gave 'the most backhanded prayer ever'. He'll put a show to impress Crom so he will be granted the revenge against Thulsa Doom. But should Crom fail to grant him that... "Then to hell with you!"
** Technically Conan only says Crom can go to hell if he ''does not listen'' to the prayer. Whether that entails granting Conan's wish or not is debatable.

* BlasphemousBoast: Before the movie's climax battle, FinalBattle of the film, Conan gave 'the what has been described as "the most backhanded prayer ever'. He'll put a show ever."
-->Crom, I have never prayed
to impress Crom so he you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will be granted the revenge remember if we were good men or bad. Why we fought, or why we died. All that matters is that two stood against Thulsa Doom. many. That's what's important! Valor pleases you, Crom... so grant me one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, then to ''hell'' with you!
** In other words, if Crom gives him the strength to claim his vengeance against Thusla Doom, Conan will use that strength to fight for the entertainment of his god.
But should Conan's efforts come to naught, he will reject Crom fail in the afterlife, denying he ever worshiped a god who could not listen to grant him that... "Then to hell with you!"
** Technically
his only prayer. Of course, Conan only says demanded that Crom can go ''[[ExactWords listen]]'' to hell if he ''does not listen'' to the his prayer. Whether that or not this entails granting Conan's wish or not is debatable.

* RageAgainstTheHeavens: Conan's prayer to Crom before the Battle of the Mounds has traces of this. He basically tells Crom "I'd love it if you'd help me beat these guys. But if you won't, then you can go fuck yourself."
** Technically he's saying "BUT if you've hung up the phone on me and I'm talking to dead air here then you can go fuck yourself." If actually granting Conan's wish is definitely implied or not is debatable.

** Technically he's only saying "BUT if you've put me on hold and I'm talking to dead air here then you can go fuck yourself." If actually granting Conan help is definitely implied or not debatable.
