A 1987 American-Canadian-Japanese romantic drama directed by Creator/PaulAlmond set during World War II as a young Lieutenant (Creator/ChrisMakepeace) falls in love with an elderly man's daughter (Creator/MariSato) after he and his Sergeant (Creator/MichaelSarrazin) are rescued from being executed.

The film also stars Creator/PatMorita, Creator/SethSakai, and Creator/DenisAkiyama.
