* ValuesResonance: When released was dismissed as overdoing it as this film eliminates all of the previous films subtext about racism in America. However, the persistent themes of Police Brutality and profiling have caused some to reevaluate it as a slightly, but still not good, film better ala Scream 3. For example, when David bitterly confronts Caroline about her statements to the cops. She remarks "if he is innocent he has nothing to worry about." David viciously calls her out that Det. Kraft has already been investigated five times for police brutality and doesn't care about solving the case only closing it. "to him I'm just another wetback he can pin it on. Then the case is closed and he goes home to Simi Hills while I do life in San Quentin." Caroline, taken aback by this becomes more proactive in solving the murders. [[spoiler: David is all too right, especially one Kraft thinks they are together and starts deliberately framing David out of spite.]]
