You gotta be more specific!", referencing the appearance of [[Franchise/SpiderMan Marvel's resident wall-crawler]] in ''Film/CaptainAmericaCivilWar''.

** Look closely, and you might notice that in several scenes, Cross wears a necktie with hexagonal patterns [[spoiler:not unlike those seen on the Yellowjacket suit]].

'''Luis:''' Thank you for the coffee ma'am! It's not too often that you rob a place and get welcomed back. I mean, we just robbed you!

* HiddenDepths: Played for all sorts of laughs. Luis goes of on a tangent describing his nights at fancy wine tasting and his enjoyment of fine art (particularily neo-cubism, though he knows to enjoy abstract expressionism).

** Scott got fired from Baskin-Robbins for omitting his criminal background. In real life, Baskin-Robbins does accept ex-criminals for hiring, provided that they reveal it during their application or run the risk of losing their job for lying.

* ObviouslyEvil: Cross basically oozes callousness from his second onscreen appearance where he casually murders a skeptical investor with an imperfect miniaturizer and tosses what little remains of him in the toilet.

* SecretTestOfThievingSkill: After Scott breaks into Pym's mansion and the safe containing the Ant-Man suit, Pym reveals he planted the rumor that led Scott to the safe so that he could see Scott in action.

* SomethingWeForgot: So, the big fight is over. Do you remember about [[spoiler:the enlarged Thomas The Tank Engine that destroyed some cop cars? Or the ant that was enlarged to the size of a dog]]? Don't worry, they are still there.
* SoMuchForStealth: Dave creates a diversion [[spoiler:by stealing an undercover police car, then retreats back to his getaway van and celebrates, but accidentally activates the "La cucaracha" car horn, alerting the officers who owned the stolen cruiser]].

* {{Fauxshadow}}: [[spoiler:In the opening flashback, Pym says S.H.I.E.L.D. can get his Pym Particles [[TemptingFate over his dead body]], and acts as the mentor to Scott though the film. ** Hank shooting down Scott's suggestion to bring the Avengers into this and his snarky reference to the destruction of Sokovia. This etablishes this film is taking place right after the events of ''Age of Ultron'' and Hank was paying attention to the news. [[spoiler: Hank, however, wasn't paying ''that'' much attention, as it'll later turn out he was unaware the Avengers had relocated to the former Stark Industries compound until Scott stages his break-in.]]
** Scott beats the Falcon by shrinking down and sabotaging his flight pack from the inside, and is later told about the dangers (and necessity) of going sub-atomic. [[spoiler:To defeat Yellowjacket, Scott has to go sub-atomic and sabotage his suit from the inside.]]

** When Hank tells Hope and Scott [[spoiler:what happened to Janet, he says regular shrinking didn't work because the rocket he and Janet were trying to disable was made of titanium.]] Scott would face the same problem [[spoiler:when fighting the Yellowjacket, whose suit is also made of titanium.]]

** Early in the movie, Luis reminds Scott that of all the guys to go through the "goodbye punch" ritual with Peaches, he alone was the only one to knock Peach out cold. Seems like mere boasting, until the final heist when we see how much ass Luis can whoop when he has to.

As Lang tries to explain what happened and make the confused Paxton understand the situation, Paxton ignores him and instead pulls out a taser and [[StaticStunGun shocks him, knocking him out]] and putting him in the police car to be taken back to jail. In reality, a cop would be fired for excessive use of force if they tased someone mid-sentence. Tasers are part of the force continuum. They are not the first thing a cop would use encountering someone. Tasers are not apprehension devices -- they are designed to overcome aggression and resistance. (This assumes a lot about law enforcement that plain evidence says isn't so. Especially police being fired.)
